I hadn't heard about this so I was quite surprised when I watched it last night. I think it is a bit annoying that we will have to endure more plotting going on between Phil and Johnny though.
The scene with Peggy, Johnny and Gus in the pub was pretty good I have to admit though.

I watched that today and was surprised too. I did wonder why he wanted to talk to Phil so desperately in the pub. I hope it's explained why Phil is using Juley like that.
It was. And now we know why Phil let it go.

Phil is using Juley to get to Johnny, isn't he? I'm guessing it was because of what happened when Sam left, with Johnny threatening to shop her into the police.

Also because of some long-running trouble with Mr Mitchell senior - Phil and Peggy still hold the grudge.
A particularly nasty thing to do to a love-struck young girl - I rather hope Johnny does manage to get hold of Juley and break his neck, its all he deserves for behaving like that, all for a couple of quid.

I read though that Juley is going to admit that he actually does love Ruby. I've also read (I do a lot of reading don't I? ) that Ruby gets a horrible surprise over Christmas!

I heard about a horrible surprise. Juley naked? LOL! Phil is using Juley but I wish they'd say why.

We're the audience! We're supposed to know what is going on, by being able to read the writer's minds. Just reading on DS and a lot of people were confused as to why Nana died. I was as well, because they had so little about what was actually wrong with her.

LOL! Do the writers even know or are they doing like Corrie and making it up as they go along? I never quite understood either. Was it some sort on aneurysm or something?

Some sort of incurable heart problem apparently, but they didn't dwell on it.

And don't forget Johnny threatened Peggy for interfering with him and his daughter's relationship, as well as the Mitchell senior thing. Even SHaron and Dennis will feel the brunt of it soon..
But i'm really enjoying the Phil manipulating people to get to Johnny at the moment! Though i missed it last night.

There wasn't anything Ruby/Juley/Johnny last night as far as I recall. Mainly the Fowlers and Moons.

I don`t know about anyone else, but I felt really uncomfortable when Johnny was going through his daughter Ruby`s underwear drawer looking for evidence of her romance with Juley. What did he expect to find? 8x10 glossy pics of them 'doing it'?

Oh yuck corriegirl! You may have hit on the next phase in Phil's dastardly plan to destroy Johnny with the aid of Juley 'I got no strings on me' Smith: mobile phone pics.

Ugh! I feel quite sick now. But I know what you mean.
I'm really surprised so many poor people in Albert Square can afford fancy mobiles!

The back doors of lorries fall open and tip their goods directly onto the Bridge Street Market stalls. This allows the good people of Walford to spend the rest of their hard-earned in the Vic, the caff, the MiniMart or the bookies. It's the EastEnd version of an Economic Community.

Johnny may now be facing the absolute last straw: a coffee-coloured baby. If Ruby is pregnant by Juley it will kill him.

She could get the morning after pill but that won't make for soap drama, will it? LOL!

I was thinking that very same thing when Stacey said about a trip to the chemist. LOL! Oh now that would make good drama if it failed. I liked that when Ruby asked about side effects and Stacey said the only one she has to worry about is in 9 months. LOL!

I don't fancy another teenage mother storyline though, so hopefully it will work. But with Johnny going maybe that is what will send him off his head completely! His daughter being pregnant at 17!

This apparently hard as nails gangster has been turned into a broken man in a remarkable quick time - it doesn't seem true. And where is his 'gang'? A hard man, shady, club-owning cliche like him should be accompanied by an entourage of knuckle-dragging heavies, not shuffling around on his own looking riled and dishevelled Despite his anger at Ruby dating Juley, someone like him shouldn't show his distress in public: he started off getting all the community on his side - getting rid of mugger toerags and being nice to the pensioners, so nobody would have a bad word to say about him. Now he's like the local nutter who people cross the road to avoid - not 'cos he's hard, but because he's demented.

As it's related:
I was in stitches at Stacey's comment tonight, i think it was at Johhny not at Phil (Or maybe it was phil?) when she retorted about them being two fat monkeys across the square throwing sticks at each other (or something!)

Yes, Peter that was funny. Stacy's great and not afraid of those two unstable old hoodlums.
