I laughed out loud when Donald threw her out and David didn`t want to know either. Serves the bitch right. No doubt she`ll be crawling back to Daddy....although will Rodders want to know his daughter if Donald tells him about what Nicola tried to do?

I don't believe for a minute that local health inspectors would voice their suspicions about possible offenders ( Jo) in public, as they did last night - totally unethical, and surely only giving these sort of official bodies a bad name?
In fact Emm seems to go in for this sort of misrepresentation in a big way - totally unbelievable police force another example, and recently the way the health authorities and doctor dealt with the 'baby swap' scenario.

Andy`s greasy haystack hair should come with its own government health warning.

God, he is such a scruffy dirty looking bloke, he should come with a government health warning.

Warning!! Put down that sandwich or bag of crisps.....
Is Andy looking into the possibilty of alternative fuel to use for the farm tractor? That`s the only thing I can think of as to why his hair is so disgustingly greasy

Anyone know how much longer we have to put up with Viv before she leaves?
.. and how long is she gone for? (not bloody long enough, I bet)

I`m hoping that when she leaves- she leaves for good. I don`t mind if Bob stays...but Viv - urgh she sets back the womens movement 50 years or more

This silly storyline with Nicola and her 'dog-sitting' business.
A friend of mine at work runs a pet-sitting business with his wife, and you need all sorts of insurance for this type of thing. Nicola seems to have got her service up and running without any insurance, business advice or, indeed, any planning whatsoever.

I agree, although I must admit I did find some of the scenes amusing!

I quite enjoyed the daftness of the dog storyline, it made a welcome relief from the itensity of the baby Arthur angst....and I do hope they are going to change that poor little mites name. !

I agree BK - the episode with Katie giving birth was the best episode in ages. I am bored of the Dingle family dominating the show though.

I`m so sick of Andy Thugden. He used to be such a nice bloke. Seems when he got that greasy haystack thatch and equally greasy face stubble, he`s gone really hatefull. How I wish someone would give him the thumping he so deserves. He`s been asking for it for a long time. Where is Zak lately? He`s the only one who hasn`t been around lately and I like him the best

To me, the most ludicrous plot device employed by Emm is Viv's cafe. I know I've mentioned this before, but it drives me mental!!! The whole village seem to go there (or the pub) for every single meal and/or cup of coffee throughout the day, and do we really believe people like the Kings or the De Souzas would use it...or even the Dingles come to that, considering they're always strapped for cash. (Roy's Rolls in Corrie, for example, is used in a much more realistic manner, since the majority of people only pop in for a takeout.) Overworked and totally unbelievable.

Grrrr..... Chas and her oik of a son piss me off more by the episode. Making fun of Paddy because he took up jogging made me so mad. They always make fun of poor Paddy and it makes me furious when they poke fun at him behind his back. They should think themselves damm lucky they`ve got a roof over their head and jobs. Other people aren`t so lucky. People like that make me sick.

Have K for that CG!
I agree, they do poke fun of Paddy a bit. I tell you who gets on my nerves in Emm now is that blinking Nathan Wylde, he's hateful!

Thanks Alice ;D
Yeah Nathan Wylde ticks me off more and more each episode. With his sly smirks and his sneaky ways getting nastier each week. I hope to see his comeuppance soon.

Have you noticed that Nathan's hair never, ever moves ? I have been noticing for weeks now. Not even in the wind ( when everybody elses's hair is taking off ) does it shift. I reckon it's Araldited down. ;D
So I am on a permanant 'hair watch'

He has hair like a lego man. That made me laugh when I heard it.
Lizzy is getting on my nerves now, at first I was indifferent to her, but I am slowly growing to hate her now. Good actress, shame she has to play such a recalcitrant character.

Am bumping this up from 2 1/2 years ago to vent my spleen on Marlon. He really ticks me off. It would be nice for him to find someone that isn`t married/in a relationship. I thought that he and Rachel were going to get together at one point. Looks like that`s been knocked on the head now. How can he afford a house with his wage cooking pub grub? I`m sure now Moira and Lizzy living there pays rent, but he can still afford to buy video games and beer. I wouldn`t hire him as pot man let alone a 'chef'. He`s always going off the deep end when things don`t go his way. I honestly can`t see what Laurel/Donna/anyone ever saw in him.

I have never ever liked Marlon.
How he gets these women to fall for him is totally beyond me. He makes me cringe every time he appears on the screen. If there ever was a character due to be killed off it's him.
The actor who plays him is hopeless. He is OTT, hand wringing, and gurning and couldn't act his way out of a paper bag.
I am also fed up with Brenda with her stupid remarks and nosiness....if they are trying to turn her into another Viv, they are failing.
