Loved the opening routine then Bruce came on and dribbled. Still at least he didn't spit on anyone like last week.
Mark will definitely be out unless those voting are sadistic. Poor mite with his crocked knees but didn't get a bye, just carried on. You can see in his face he wants out. He's done well considering. Susannah with Mark in the bottom two?

Is Kieran Roberts still around? He was the common denominator with those two. His cohort Daran Little is long gone.

LOL! I wondered that as well, Wend. I'm sure Kristina would have got Ben doing something like that given half chance.

Well that makes a change. A couple actually signing the register before one gets cold feet! Who wants to be married to Poxy anyway? Her morals aren't that much better than Slut's. And when is the Cabbage Patch doll going to talk???

Really? You surprise me considering how defensive you become when anyone dares criticise her. I have no favourites and watch their footwork and body movements. Ben's kicks were lame and it was less about the Charleston and more about weightlifting. He had limitations he struggled to overcome and so does Natalie and even Mark. Yet it's okay for you to constantly say Mark should go and be incredulous when he's still there yet no one can say a bad word about Natalie. Double standards.

The judges would give Mark low scores even if he blew everyone else away because they want him gone as much as they want Natalie to stay so overmark her. Perhaps it's time to axe judges votes or not add them to the viewers as well as get rid of the dance off. Craig absolutely loathes Mark as much as he does Brendan and you can see that. No matter what they do, he will score low. There's also something between Craig and Bruno, especially when Craig criticises Natalie. Ben's dance wasn't that great and as Nick said, very little Charleston, but by all accounts, his in the dance off was worse than Mark, which is why he went. The comments on DS sum up my feelings about the voting this year. Patsy

Paul, interesting your friend would also disagree with mine who also knows his stuff. Perhaps the dance experts should get together and fight. If you look around the internet, you will see you are in a minority with Natalie. My tweet on Saturday about her being overmarked was retweeted 8 times and favourited 9 times. She has made mistakes two weeks running. Last week they were ALL ignored when they were the most blatant, getting 39 points she didn't deserve and this week, despite criticism from judges, was still overmarked with the 9s and 10. I missed 2 weeks and Natalie has NOT improved during that time. She is struggling and that shows. Abbey was at first but she's doing much better, been undermarked and I can't stand her. The others have all improved. Natalie hasn't. The routine last week based on Josephine Baker has zilch to do with all the mistakes she made as well as being out of time. That is an excuse. Artem did all the work then and is now. She started off well back in September but since then has been struggling. Mark isn't great but tries his best and makes more effort than she does. They ALL make more effort than she does. She is clearly your favourite so you won't have a bad word said against her but many disagree with you and that list is growing weekly across the internet (FB, Twitter, forums, newspaper comments etc). You don't like Mark and made that very clear for weeks. We all accept your opinion. You should accept people don't like Natalie instead of getting defensive whenever there's criticism towards her. It's only a programme after all. Patsy

Saw the result last night so watched Day of the Doctor again. The show is a farce thanks to over and under marking.

As for the actual ep - wow! Tom Baker at the end, Peter Capaldi as 13. Since it came back I've never been totally gripped like I was watching this. Stories too short and boring story arcs. I didn't even like Tennant. If I missed eps while I was away, I couldn't be arsed catching up. But Steven Moffatt wrote a fantastic episode for the 50th. I even liked Tennant! He had proper writing, not that mushy, wimp bollocks he had under RTD. Queen Elizabeth I was pointless. Zygons pointless too though great to see them back. They never had teeth before! Never saw the resolution. And RTD getting rid of Gallifrey has been reversed - yay!!!! The best decision SM ever made. RTD wrote the show for himself, getting rid and changing things he didn't like. The whole 'last of the Time Lords' thing was bollocks because there were many not even on Gallifrey and the Tardis needed the planet to function. SM is a proper fan and knows what fans want. RTD refused multi-Doctor stories. SM wrote the CiN one with Davison and Tennant. The dialogue between these three in the 50th was excellent and reminscent of The Three Doctors. It's the first one I'm willing to buy on DVD since it came back because I want to watch again, not for completism (only bought Eccleston & Tennant's 1st series and haven't watched those again). I can't wait to see where SM will go with Peter Capaldi but will be sad to see Matt go. He's been a proper Doctor.

Sophie wasn't happy from the start about something. I wonder how the others feel about Natalie being lacklustre and not making much effort but getting high scores? I'm no Abby fan but she was good last night and deserved more than she got. They were saying on DS last week they're giving Natalie high scores because the viewers aren't voting for her and want to keep her in. Looks like that's right. There are certain celebrities who get critcised and low marks regardless of how good they were while Natalie escapes that. Craig was the harshest to her but still gave her 9. Last week she made mistakes and was out of time, Artem doing all the work and not one bit of criticism. Ben was okay. Agree with Nick about not much Charleston but it was still a better performance than Natalie. At least everyone else does something. I couldn't even tell Natalie's was a tango. It was too stiff and her head movements weren't tight but leaning it back like a waltz.

Natalie overmarked for another mediocre dance and barely criticised. Artem is carrying her. They have no chemistry. A friend in Manchester is a professional dance teacher and judge and stopped watching because it "a farce". Agreed.

Great cameos from William Russell, Mark Eden, Carole Ann Ford, Jean Marsh and Anneke Wills. I wonder why Vicki wasn't covered in this? Even a brief Steven and Dodo but no Vicki. Maureen O'Brien isn't like Josette Simon and denying her early career so there must be a good reason she was ignored in it. But it was really good. Very sad at the end when he was told he would no longer be required. I do like the Hartnell and Troughtons. They're less gimmicky than Pertwee onwards. Totally different to those. I may buy this on DVD.
Yes there is a nitpick so call me an anorak. It implied Verity left at the end of The Web Planet when she didn't. She went a couple of months after William Russell and Jacqueline Hill. She brought in Peter Purves to replace them.

I posted the trailer in the 50th thread. As I was watching journos and my friend Stella quaff free booze at Royal Caribbean's bash in London last night, I've not seen it yet but heard it was really good. Will probably have a look tomorrow.
