There are recipes for 'traditional Lancashire hotpot' all over the web. They can pay some spotty school leaver the minimum wage to knock it out. Betty is finished

Betty could go on part time retirement once she has taught a school leaver how to cook a proper lancashire hotpot (not all lancashire hotpots on the web are the proper type that Betty cook,s Pearly, at least thats what my hubby say,s and he is from lancashire ) as I think she,d miss the company she has in the rover,s otherwise

LOL Valda! I can imagine the shock they'd all get while they're supping their booze and suddenly hear, "Hotpot, lovey?"
All that greasy food is probably more healthy than Betty's hotpots.

I remember when it was top secret then it was published so maybe she does that for everyone.
Betty's not immortal. She's also not preserved with booze. LOL!

I don`t think money is the issue with Betty driver. I think she enjoys her time at Coronation Street and the bosses probbaly let her work when she feels like it. Personally if I was in my 80`s I would prefer to take it easy. Kudos to Betty Driver for thinking of her fans and appearing once in a while. She`s a terrific lady

Betty will be 87 in May,so she does well in Corrie. She is the same age as my Mother..she saw Betty on stage in Manchester when she was a young girl, betty was a singer at the time. She sent Mum a card on her 80th birthday which I thought was very kind.

If some of those are dead they'd have been worth a bit too now. I got rid of loads of things years ago and regretted it. You just don't think at the time.

True. Lets hope not though. Betty has always been overweight yet looks very fit for her age.
