Which have been your favourite/worst weddings over the years, and which have been your favourite/worst wedding outfit???

My fave wedding was when Maxine and Ashley got married. So sad because of poor Judy Mallet though.
My favourite wedding outfit is a 3 way tie between Emily`s wedding to Ernest and Emilies wedding to Arnold Sawin...she looked gorgous both times and so radiant. The other outifit was when Sally Webster married Kev the first time.
The worst wedding was Cilla and Les Battersbys. How cringworthy was that!!! Although I did laugh out loud at the '666' curls on Cillas forhead.
Worst outfit belongs to Tracey Barlow (Dawn Acton) when she married Robert Preston. The dress was nice, but GGA Doc Marten boots?

No idea about outfits but my fave weddings were Mave and Derek when they jilted each other in 1984! Also liked Sally and Kevin's in 1986 and Brian and Gail's in 79.

I loved Marias wedding dress too...it was beautiful but not really suited for a winter wedding though...more like a summer frock.

Wedding these days seem boring as its always "will they wont they" and we know the outcome half the time due to the spoilers.

Yes. They had several consecutive jiltings and claimed they filmed different endings and several 'will they. won't they' as well. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Once upon a time a Corrie wedding was something special. Now they're ten a penny.

Yes, reading through the 40th anniversary book they had some years with a few weeks, others without - but now we get at least 3-4 a year and most either have some sort of hitch and they dont go ahead.

Its the same with babies and deaths - far too many these days. Violet has only just had her baby and left, Tina is now pregnant and we also have Maria who is pregnant.
