Come on Patsy you have to admit she has improved however I will be there with brass-nobs on. The story has been good from what bits my husband has made me watch however Tracy should of been regenerated 4 years ago. Anyone else read the newswires today about Kate Ford's fear that she is never going to work again because she isn't getting any work offers. I guess that might change after all those British Soap Awards she is sure to win. Edit: Looking forward to the next head in about 15 years

Well compared to the windscreen wiper eyebrows performances in Doctors and the Ricky & Bianca things course she has. She stopped them going up and down. LOL! Doubt it. They all know each other and potential employers would have been watching her. Be lucky if she got touched with a bargepole. See you there! Don't forget to bring some booze. This is going to be one hell of a party. Patsy

I may drop in later for a quick drink. But im still catching up with stuff after being away!
Im glad to hear that you think she has improved, Lane. I agree that she definately has. Even I said she was crap a few times during the Ray storyline in 2005. But im still a fan even though I have slagged her off a few times.

Less than an hour until Kate Ford leaves Corrie! The question is does this mean the end of her showbusiness career?

Probably which could explain the watery eyes at the end. Either that or someone held an onion out of shot.
Come on folks. It's party time! Pearly's brought fireworks! ;D

Now I've watched last night's what was the actual point. The press info and billing info was misleading when it suggested Tracy washed her hands of her parents because they wouldn't support her and her appeal. I didn't really see that. I didn't see Tracy say they weren't to visit her again or Deirdre or Ken wash their hands of her either. They just said they couldn't afford the appeal.
BTW why did she not get legal aid for her first trial as was implied last night?
I just don't see the point of last night being Tracy's last episode. I think it should of ended with her going away in the police van crying over a picture of Amy and a guard could of said the dialogue the other prisoner ended up saying. That was good Tracy not wanting Amy to be like her. However it would have been so more dramatic as a final scene for Tracy her getting into that dark lonely van at the end of Monday's episode last week clutching a picture of Amy.
Perhaps some things were cut out from the original script of last night's? It just seemd to be missing any real drama in what was supposed to be this great charater's major exit - for the forseeable future at least!
The prison scenes with her parents were flat. And the final scene in her cell (which could of been very powerful) seemed rushed and cut abruptly.

Kate Ford made quite the impact on Corrie, I'd say she did a pretty good job. I never used to enjoy her performance but she was given one role without depth. Tracy was a stone cold woman, Kate played that to perfection in the end.

The Tracy who left for London with Robert wasn't stone cold at all. They changed her personality when they brought her back then changed history to excuse it.

Lane, I know exactly what you mean. I expected her to wash her hands of her parents when they refused to fund her appeal.
I think she did get legal aid the first time but she wanted a better solicitor than the one offered on legal aid. This Jane person was apparently very experienced in defending victims of domestic abuse. That is why Jane was so disgusted with Tracy when she found out she had lied.
