With Barbara Knox also undergoing facial 'improvement' lately, it got me thinking about Lynne's with trout pout. Is there a pic anywhere online? I've just spent ages searching Google and the closest I've come was after she lost the pout. Can't even find the one where she's holding up the Sun. Anyone?

I think it's with the Pat Phoenix ones and a bugger to get to. Everything fell down in the spare room somehow before Christmas and I can't even get past the door. I wanted to show it to Amy.

I can remember seeing LP with a 'trout pout' and she looked awful.
Ivy was never one of my fave characters.

She did. That particular pic with the Sun was the worst I think. Perfect example of why you shouldn't have anything done. As Amy grew up in Hollyweird I thought it'd be nice to get her thoughts on what Lynne did to herself. If only I could find that damn picture! Why doesn't any flipping site have it?  Patsy |

I liked Ivy in general. In the 90s they turned her barmy.

I thought she was fantastic - she never left Gail alone for a minute did she, always on her back from the minute she started dating R Brian!
She did go a bit OTT after Brian's death though.

Yes and she did eventually come to accept Martin.
She was definitely worse in the last couple of years which was such a shame. They began to ruin her character imo, not so much by marrying Don, but after he became obsessed with that Julie and lost his leg in the car crash.

Yeah but Don did treat her quite badly, having an affair with Julie and then stalking Denise.

Only because the writers were stupid. There was no need for them to have him do that. That was the beginning of the end for Ivy and she was never the same afterwards.

And Don got worse after Ivy left and then died. I hated the character of Don by the end but didnt mind him in his first couple of years on the show.
