The rant that Deirdre was coming out with to Roger last night made me wonder if those words were originally meant for Blanche.!

It may have been. Look at the way they gave Boreen Reet's dialogue.

It probabaly was Blanche's lines as they had to rewrite scripts with Maggie being off ill. It was funny when Deridre came into the rovers asking for a chicken - I wouldnt be surprised if that was a Blanche line as well!

I can`t wait til Blanche gives Janice the tongue lashing she deserves. No one can dish it out quite like Blanche ;D

Jonathan Harvey..Thief..strikes again
the line 'Feungerola Poly doing a sandwich course' was lifted straight from the lips of Mrs Overall in Victoria Woods 'Acorn Antiques'
I find myself watching each episode he is writing waiting for the Victoria Wood line

I forgot it was 8-9. I'm getting fed up with all channels dropping things willy nilly but NEVER the soaps.

Carla keeps on about spilling the beans to Maria, has it crossed her mind that Liam could do the same to Tony.

Thing is though Carla doesn't really care about Tony..whereas Liam loves Maria (in a strange sort of way)

Whose flat is it that Carla is staying at? Hers or Tonys? I`m sure she doesn`t want to lose her meal ticket unless she has someone else in the pipeline.

Its Carla's flat - she used to share it with Paul.

What an absolute Grade 'A' B-I-T-C-H Carla has turned out to be. (or Snarla as one of the redtops now calls her).
Nice to see her expression in the closing scene tho' - didn't look like she got much of a buzz out of her spitefulness. Good.

Now she realises what she has lost......serves Snarla right. I doubt if she will get away with treating Tony as spitefully as she`s been to Liam.

I wouldn't fancy being a machinist in Underworld now, with Carla and Tony as the bosses - what a pair of tyrants.
The Websters/Peacocks house swap stuff is really driving me nuts now. Also you'd think that the Peacocks would get a second opinion from another builder - and not believe Kevin's dad. Sally should be billed for the work - she messed up the electrics, let her pay for it.
I hope David's new job works out for him, then maybe we won't see so much of him, if he's working elsewhere.

I think we are now going to see the continuation ( after the Bat incident ) of Tony's 'dark side'
If Carla thinks she has the upper hand in the factory she is sadly mistaken, also it won't be long before Rosie starts a bit of stirring.

Why don't you start a thread with all his 'borrowed' dialogue? One way of keeping track of how much he's lifted. Patsy

I`m sorry to say Corrie was crap tonight. Maybe it was because of Miss Hell and Snarla in it ganging up on poor Lloyd. I`m intrigued about that painting Claire found, and was happy to hear a reference about Irma Ogden. It`s not very often we get to hear about past characters, so it made a refreshing change. I`m sure the painting is a forgery...it wouldn`t surprise me if Trevor Ogden did it trying to scam someone in 1964 lol

My friend Paul felt the same so you're not alone. He doubts that 'Lowry' was up there that long considering the number of people who've been IN the attic during the Oggie's time.

This painting won't cause as much of a kerfuffle as Ivy Tilsley's diary did!!
