We thought that...she can only sell her share..not his...unless with her being the majority shareholder she has the final say on any decisions More than likely if she sells her share to Tony he'll manage to squeeze Norris out by underhand dealings - Norris will be bullied into submission. Personally I think it's really nasty of Reet to give in to Tony without a proper discussion with Norris - they should come to a mutual agreement.

Course Norris doesnt have a say - as Pats will tell you, he's a peasant!
Realistially though he should have a say as a partner - even if he isnt the majority share holder.
Well Kim Crowther is in charge now but I guess the episodes we are seeing on screen were still created under Steve Frost.

Fair enough Reet is getting tired of the Kabin, and she has earned her rest. But I can`t see Reet actuyally agreeing to knock down her empire, even if she is paid handsomely for it. I do feel a bit sorry for Norris, but to be fair his partnership was Reet was one based on the fact that he didn`t put a penny into the place. He`s just a glorified shopping assistant that sort of bullied Reet into a partnership.

LOL! Too true, Jezziekins.
CG, I agree. I could never even see her agreeing to any share in the first place. She was never desperate enough to keep anyone on except possibly Mave but then she was her best friend. Norris is a weasel.

She has a great voice when she's not mid-Atlantic, ruining good songs and making me relapse. LOL! I'll get round to it one day. I need to get like this first: LOL! So do I because I'm off again next week! Patsy

Cool Jez. So its a holiday weekend for both of us. Although why they call 4th July a holiday is beyond me. I`ll be spending most of the day preparing and cooking food on the BBQ

I can't remember which one that one, CG. Started at dinner so probably 7th or 8th. LOL! I think I had about 14 or 15 after the DJ plied me and Sue with booze by the time I woke Amy & Jason up at 5.30am and fell in their bin. I hope you'll not get that bad. LOL! They're flying home tomorrow so will probably crash out. Good luck with the BBQ and do have a couple of drinks at least. ;D Oh bugger! Another card I forgot to get due to a cold. I forgot someone before I went away too because of the one I caught on Boudicca. Sorry, my little Jezziekins. Patsy

Stony is stereotypical cartoon-like villain - how can anyone like him? I still don't understand all that wheelchair/crutches/accident rubbish a couple of weeks back - it was totally unnecessary, unless the actor had been involved in an actual accident. Was he? I don't remember reading about it? If that was indeed the case, they could have written him out for a while longer while he recovered, and not shown it on the show.
Kevin and Norris - hold your ground, don't be manipulated by Stony.
Poor Becky and Roy - such a shame they fell out, but they're both strong-minded and stubborn. Becky would be better off with Roy rather than Jason - but Jason has certain attractions that Roy doesn't! Even so - living with Eileen might give Becky the wake-up call to let her know that it's better to make up with Roy.
Vernon - not bothered, if he vanished off the face of the Earth tomorrow it wouldn't affect anything.

Excellent, Nick. ;D They are quick sometimes. Lane said her Boudicca one arrived while she was away so that took its time. Did that one arrive as well? I'm hoping the cold is on the wane now. Got a dreadful cough but the nose isn't running as much.
Pearly, can Vermin go back to EE if he's desperate or did they kill him off?

Brilliant stuff last night with Roy and Becky - more than made up for the interminable Michelle and Lloyd saga we've had to put up with in recent days/weeks/months (delete as applicable).

The stuff with Roy and Becky was indeed brilliant - Roy cares about Becky as if she was his own daughter and we know she sees him as a father figure too. What she said about Hayley though was out of line but at least we could tell she was devastated about it afterwards (when talking to Lloyd) and she did apologise to Roy.
Also I am liking Tony as a character a lot more now. I find the relationship between him and Carla interesting. I think this character could well save Corrie.

What purpose did Miss Hell fill last night? Nothing!!! The dialogue she had could have been used by anybody in the Street. The only bit she was needed for was to show Vernon how shallow she is by being more concerned who would cover a work shift rather than Vernon leaving. Selfish cow. I rolled my eyes at Norris being so pathetic acting like a child. The saving grace last night was of course Blanche. I really did laugh out loud when Becky and Roy were rowing in the cafe and the camera panned in on Blanche earwigging. ;D

By the way did anyone notice Kens paunch last night? Now I know why there weren`t many Cornish pasties left in the cafe lol. I noticed it because whenever the camera pans to the hot food case I always drool. I miss Cornish pasties so much and it`s too hot here to make my own (My pastry is better if I have cold hands). Deidre is putting on weight too but it really does suit her....a few months ago she looked really gaunt. I noticed last night when she was wearing the metal ring belt she used to favour in the 70`s. But the one she wore last night was more elaborate.

You've only just noticed her menopausal podge, CG? She's had that since before KF appeared and I'm getting one now. I want to be like Sue Nicholls and skinny. Patsy
