Last nights episodes were a mixture of good and bad IMO - the proposal was lovely and very moving, however im bored with Harry's wife and the John Stape storyline but some of the scenes with Fizz were good. I dont understand why they need to bring John back, have they really run out of ideas?
The ending with Jack was very moving.

You mean you've only just noticed? She was probably the inspiration for Barbara. Bev's face has been as smooth as a drumskin for more than a year now but her neck gives her age away. Patsy Last night though Liz looked distinctivley different and it was more noticable..she is beginning to look oriental the way they are pulling her eyes up at the corners... The scriptwriters did make a mistake over Livin' thing being 1976 and not 1979...BUT I suppose they were writing for Daryl and as he had never heard of ELO he would have been guessing with 1979 |

Another Joan Rivers/Wildenstein woman in the making!  Isn't it time TPTB told these vain old woman to STOP being so damn vain because their characters are meant to be poor so can't afford any sort of facelifts, botox or collagen? It can also bugger up continuity. Barbara in some scenes was wrinkle free yet on others covered in wrinkles. Bloody stupid. What about Helen Worth? Some people on Teletext reckon she's had work done as well. Nah, laziness. Patsy |

I laughed out loud when Roy bought Chesney a computer game of Arkwrights spinning jenny. He just couldn`t resist could he. I bet Roy plays with his animated shuttle for ages lol

Really good episodes tonight..Blanche was hilarious
Why was Michelle in the episode when she has been in nearly every one for ages yet Gail,Steve, etc haven't been in much were missed out..??
and when Michelle said to Becky 'I am really short staffed' as if she owned the place !!..God she gets on my nerves

The bitchy one liners between Liz and Clarissa were really good, although the promised bar room brawl was disappointing.
I don't usually feel sorry for Liz, but I did tonight, as she obviously felt really insulted.
Sean has got a nerve moralising about things - wasn't so long ago that he was going with his ex Sunny behind Michelle's back.
If Auntie Pam has such fantastic entrepreneurial skills - why is she kipping on a mate's sofa, and not living in a des res in the Quays?
I can't work out when Dev is more irritating: when he has just one line and hams it up, or when he has more lines and is even worse.

Auntie Pam has done to Corrie what Anna De Souza has done to Emmerdale....a terrific new character that breathed new life into the show. I really do like her, and I hope she sticks around even after Tyrone and Molly get married.
I don`t know who wrote last nights episode, but some of it belonged in the recyling bin. Prawns comment 'you`re terrible Muriel' has been said more than once and it wasn`t funny the first time.
Less of John Stape and Fiz please writers....it`s getting so tedious.

Well ... going from the ridiculous to the sublime, I've started watching Emm again on a fairly regular basis, but have now stopped watching most episodes of Corrie. I work Mon-Thurs nightshifts, and usually record Monday and Wednesday episodes, to watch (supposedly) before Friday's. I'm still recording them, but over last few weeks I just haven't bothered to watch the reruns, just watched Friday as a catch-up, and even then, not always both episodes! Doctor Patsy? Is it curable? Can I take anything for it? |
