Sally is one of my favourite characters of all time and there is a special in the TV Times because she is 40 (on screen) I cant wait to read it.  |

I do like Sally too altho she can be a silly,pretentious,social climbing daft bint at times...in fact i like all the Websters as a family unit
I'm glad they didn't go down the road of axing them like Curly and Martin (they all came in around the same time didn't they,or within a couple of years of each other)
they have obviously brushed Alison and Jake under the carpet

Kev and Curly were 1983 I think. Sally was later in January 1986.

Brookie was already showing signs of going down the pan though even in 1997-1999 with 2 explosions in 2 years. It was 2000 onwards it went really bad though.

Hard to believe that Sally is about the same age now as Reet was when she joined Corrie! Agreed Jez. Sally is naturally pretty and she looks at least 10 years younger than what she is. Good bone structure methinks. |

It alwyas amazes me that When the street started Ena,Minnie and Martha were at least 7-8 years younger than Rita and Vera are now
just goes to show that old women were OLD in those days

Yep. Less plastic surgery and botox. We've got a pic of my great-great grandmother and she was ancient at just 45. My mum looks that old now at 61. Patsy |

Sally was on the cover of the Mirrors TV Guide I see. I dont get the Mirror but my dad does so I must remember to ask him to save it for me.
Im looking forward to Sally's birthday celebration this week - should be a good episode.

No idea. But in the photo for the opening of Leanne's restaurant it shows Boreen in the photo and no Reet.
