Why do they ALWAYS have as newcomers people who've been in soaps or that soap before? I remember when Brian Capron was nominated and he'd already been in Corrie. Now they've got Joseph Gilgun from Em who's been in Corrie. Linda Lusardi's been in Brookie. Newcome should be just that - NEW to telly!

Must admit, I did vote for Eli in Emmerdale as best newcomer.
The best child actor I voted for Sophie Webster. I was tempted to vote for Daz in Emmerdale as best child actor, but he doesn`t seem a child to me anymore. If you know what I mean?

Yes but this is Inside Soap so it would be insulting for them to get Corrie awards since they are so biased to EE.
Me neither - id rather clean the house than go.

How come almost everyone has said it is crap compaired to Corrie this last 4 years then? Besides thats no excuse for being biased, if they cover soaps they should cover the big 2 fairly.

In that case 9 million dont agree with you about Corrie yet you continually slag it off. I rarely slag off Eastenders because I cant be arsed.

Same thing applies to Corrie, Emmerdale and loads of other things.
Exactly. That's the point I'm making. People still watch even when they say it's rubbish. Look at TV critics. LOL! But let's face it, all soaps are struggling now and getting nowhere what they did 10 years ago. People are just getting fed up. Maybe if they all fall to 5 million they'll think about reducing the lot.

They blame it on people having Digital tv so much more choice in what to watch.
Practically everyone I have heard talk about EE has said negative things. People on tv forum hate it and prefer Corrie. And Corrie won all those award at the soapieswhich proves they are better - the viewers voted!

No because a lot of them, as we know, are hormonal teens voting for who they fancy in the viewer votes so don't count.

They just go along with it. Like I vote EE (or Em before I watched EE) for everything. They may not watch more than one.
