Didn't Julie Hesmondhalgh also have a moan one year at something saying it was fixed and they ought to have won?
Put AC up against Bruno. That'll learn him. LOL!

I can`t help but think that was why AC had that rant after the awards ceremony a few months ago....because he knew the audience preferred Todd and that AC`s time as 'golden boy' were coming to an end.

There was something I read today by Barbara Windsor. She said she was going to say it was the third win in a row but saw AC in the audience so thought she'd better not or something. All the more reason to say it I reckon! ;D

T'OB, Ryan and Jack P somewhat bungled the award they were presenting - talked at the wrong moments etc.
It's a shame Charlie Clements didn't win Most Popular Actor because he's my favourite. Did he present one? I didn't catch the whole show.

From the credits at the end it looked like he and Jake Wood did present something.

Id have preferred Sue to have won over that Lacey from EE, Nick. But I guess you win some you lose some.

What was Strictly Come Dancing and Dancing On Ice doing in talent shows? It's celebs, not a talent show! Some of these nominations were just ridiculous.

These awards are definately not as good as they used to be 10 years ago.

Is Top Gear factual? I noticed people on Teletext complaining about that. Jeremy Clarkson has said they haven't put a fact in for 5 years.
Course they're not. There's far too much drivel on TV these days so they're clutching at straws to fill nominations.

I was disappointed Harry Hill didn`t win. TV Burp is one of the funniest shows on the telly.

And it's very difficult filling any 'comedy' category these days. What did win?

I think it was Catherine Tate

Is she funny?

I don`t think she`s funny, but a lot of people must have voted for her. Its a shame they didn`t have a comedy choice in the soaps....Blanche would`ve won hands down

She irks the hell out of me. I'd never seen her before that Dr Who Christmas ep last year and I thought she was dreadful.
Oh definitely. Blanche would romp it each year.

I don't think she is funny at all.
And Dr Who is now ruined for me now she is going to be the new companion. Have any companions ever been killed off.?? ;D

LOL! Yes. I don't count Katarina and Sara Kingdom because they were in a few eps. But Adric had a spectacular and joyful (in my eyes) demise when the spaceship he was trapped crashed on earth and wiped out the dinosaurs. A small sacrifce to be rid of that annoying git. ;D

Poor little Adric..no one understands a genius lol
The first 2 series of Catherine Tate show were good,..she co-wrote them with Derren Little & Ashlin Ditta ..but for the third series they parted company with Derren (I don't know why)..Derren went on to write Benidorm on his own and various other things (he is in the Utterly Butterly ad where his wife (played by Emma Kennedy) keeps cutting bits of his sandwich off to eat and then trimmking it till its tiny !!..so I felt the third series of CTS lacked his imput very much
