Dare I say it... I don`t dislike Clyde. He`s not the worst character on the show - nor the best.
But I do dislike L*whore*en, Titney and TMBK.
The only decent young actor in EE at the moment is Jay - he can out act anyone his age....and some of the older ones too.

Shhh - I agree with you both about Jay, but if the Beeb get to hear about it they'll kill him off, like they did with Bradley.
Another problem with Jay is that he has no real ties in Albert Square, so if he died there wouldn't be too much fallout. Only Abi - and she'd recover pretty quickly at her age.
As for the power cut scene , it wasn't like any other power cut I've ever seen: the whole area doesn't go down at once - the grid is arranged usually so that it's every other building, so there are always places with some power on each street, so people can help each other out. And I don't think the piano has been used in the Vic since Wicksy!

Here everything goes off in the affected area. Sometimes we get hit if Hythe gets a power cut, other times Hythe is still on.
It's so wrong TMBK is being allowed to get away with murder. It MUST come out though because he's still got the weapon.
Didn't we say Gangrene would have a girl? Mucky is a boring character. Why has Anthony Moon been axed but not him?

Absolutely all Moons have been crap, since day one. It's only Alfie who's half decent. He had a dozy brother called Spencer, way back, who just disappeared, no storyline or anything. Their nan was ok, but only because she was played by Hilda Braid. There were two thuggish cousins - Jake and Danny, I think, both morons. Now we have three other twats of cousins - Michael, Tyler and Anthony via a terrible and disappointing intervention from David Essex. Michael has since bred with Slat and created Tommy, and is now expecting another brat with Gangrene: fk knows what sort of evil three headed mutant that will be.
The Moons have been a bad idea all round.
Now the Brannings are the main family in Albert Square, and they're all horrible. Why do I watch this rubbish?

I`m only hanging on to see the Sharon return. I`m hoping that its Sharon who dobbs in TMBK.
As Pats correctly said, TMBK must not get away with murder. It will make a mockery of the whole thing otherwise.
I don`t know who is writing for TMBK, but it`s all over the place. Within an hour of killing Hev, he was making jokes about her at the dinner table. He uses the murder weapon, a photo frame as a trophy for her murder hidden under his bed.. And now they have him blurting out his crime to his older brother and now he seems to be losing it.
Na not buying it for one minute....especially as TMBK isn`t exactly the best actor they have. That award goes to Jay - who can out act TMBK any day of the week.
Alfie Moon is doing my head in too. The way he breathes noisily through his mouth when he talks is incredibly annoying and off puting, That scene last week of spraying Mo with a water siphon went beyond embarrassing.
Too many Moons and Brannings - way too many.

Not under the bed, Wend, the mattress which makes it even more implausible unless he either changes his own sheets or doesn't at all. They have a hard job clearing up this awful mess the last producer made of it. There are too many Brannings yes, also too many baddies - Bald Egg, Mucky Moon, Gangrene, Clyde. Many of the storylines are too ridiculous for words. I'm hanging on for the new one to make their own mark.

Okay now you know how I lurve my cruising so do wonder wtf soap writers are on! Maybe Wend can do a grab (if not too late). Anyway I had to laugh today with these tickets. because bugger all issue proper ones any more (some have phased out issuing luggage labels so you have to print them then staple the sod together). It's A4 you print and hand over. Fly cruises are bloody War & Peace! I had 21 pages to print once. Even if the cruise line isn't doing the air and transfers, where do you get flight tix in a wallet these days??? Quite nice scenes between Clyde and Tyler cooking tonight. Patsy |

I haven`t seen the eps yet Pats. I dunno what`s wrong with that site I get them from lately - they`re always late. The HD eps have come up - but not the xvid ones. I will probably get all 4 tonight which will mean my pc will be slower than a snail on crutches as there are 2 Corrie and one E/dale one too - as well as a PYC from another site!!! So yeah as soon as I see those scenes I`ll grab some screen caps for you.
This evening will also mark the start of all my skills. We just got a wedding invite the other day, and now I have to knit a blanket with 2 matching cushions, and complete `em by July 20th. My hands will be a blur for months! So if you don`t see me much - you`ll know why. One of my creations usually takes 3-4 months. I`ve already designed it, typed it out and printed it. Now I start it today after hubby gets home from work today - he`s buying the wool for me as he works opposite WalMart.

I was going to look on iPlayer but BT are changing the phone cables in the area so streaming's a nightmare. Some days I'm lucky to get 4 seconds. It was blink and you miss it, like that postcard Hazel sent Minty a few years ago.

It's not often that I feel sorry for the creepy Ian Beale, but he really has lost it this time hasn't he? The realisation that his half brother - a hated Mitchell - is a killer, and that his fiancee - a skank - doesn't really love him, has finally kicked in and pushed him over the edge.
Good acting from Mandy, but Ian seemed close to smirking in some of his 'losing it' scenes, but I did like his Arthur Dentesque drift into insanity in an uncaring universe.
