Talk about a depressing episode, full of youngsters with the weight of the world on their shoulders: Fishface and Abi's disgust at their dad; Loosey's lump; Ayesha's love for an older married man; Tyler and Whitney trying to have a proper grown up relationship; Joey's attempts to save Alice from dirty old sleazbag Michael. Why do I watch this?

I missed yesterday's but it sounded like it was good with Mas going off on one. Pity that would have probably been THE best bit!
Good question. It's really dire.

I actually felt really sorry for Zainab tonight but she does nag all the time. No wonder she's driven him away. The best part of the episode I thought and poor Tambo. Patsy

Bye Zainab. Can you take half the cast and all the writers with you?

So Baldy survived yet another near death experience. Not many people could have crawled out of that pit and lived to tell the tale, more's the pity. Never mind all the other assaults, fires and drug-induced comas. That's evolution for ya: The Phil Mitchells of this world live to shag another day, and breed more Mitchells; and the Bradley Brannings of this world die young and heirless.

I missed Monday but it's been boring for ages. Sharon adds nothing to it. Can single people come into soapland and NOT shag the first neighbour to come along please? This Lexi stuff is boring. As it's been said before, Baldy would not be granted custody with his record. They expect you to suspend belief rather than actually write properly.

Now Bobby Beale has a new head! Dull, dull, dull.
Hasn't that Magda been on telly before? Was she in Corrie?

Yes, she played Wiki the Polish woman in Underworld. Quite a good character, too and realistic since there are many eastern Europeans working in the UK these days.

Not a bad episode all in all. Some good acting and decent emotional stuff flying about. Even pathetic Billy's heartfelt speech was well intentioned for a change - not his usual whining apology for messing up yet again. Shame the last minute abduction spoiled it - it was going too far, but this programme never could do subtle.

Ian - I spy with my little eye, something beginning with W. Patrick - Wally
LMAO!
Sharon is still pointless but maybe Jack goes off with her.
Danielle Harold is a great little actress, putting Fishface, Noo Loosey, Shitney and a few others to shame. Baldy needs a comeuppance.

One thing I'm getting fed up with is the same theme running through eps but with different characters. Tonight we had snog between Ian and Denise after a few home truths and then Sharon and Baldy after the same. Usually there's parallel marriage break ups or similar storylines in the same ep. Yawn!

My Sky box is acting up, and I've been having trouble watching BBC programmes (They're supoosed to be sending someone to fix it - I'm not holding my breath) therefore I'm even more behind with EE than usual.
Saw it tonight. That ghostly looking white boy in Liam's gang is so freaky-looking he would scare anyone! It must be every parent's nightmare for their teen to fall in with a bunch of bored ne'erdowells with something to prove: not necessarily evil individually, but as a gang they get carried away and go too far. Where's Thicky? I can't remember why it was he took off yet again, but he would have provided a good role model for Liam. Not the brightest spark - but not a thug and always a grafter. Maybe he'll come back.

A thoroughly miserable episode - everybody sad, lonely, let down and unhappy. Bloody hell.

Hope you had a nice holiday, Patsy.
No - you've missed nothing. Liam acted up, got in with the wrong crowd, who stabbed him and he survived and decided to go and live with Thicky. Problem solved.
Sharon has been pouting and eye fluttering towards both Baldy and Jack, but decided on Jack after all - he dumped her, in favour of his mad child-snatching ex. She (Sharon, that is) turned up on Baldy's doorstep. Problem solved.
Kirsty is claiming to be knocked up by her 'husband'; he is unimpressed, and told her to terminate. Problem solved.
Depressing stuff.

Welcome back Gangrene - like this programme needed another headcase! Far too much control-freakery going on: are the citizens of the EastEnd really this twisted? Kerrri-i-i-i- st on a bike. Time to stop watching this trash

Only saw Friday's ep this week, due to family commitments. Pretty good actually - some good stuff from Lola and Sharon. Danielle Harold is a really great actress.
Bloody awful business with Slat and Lister: ok, so he's a jobsworth, but her reverting to slaggy type and 'seducing' him for blackmail purposes was so embarrassing. She did a bit better in scenes with Michael where he showed some real emotion - even so, I can't stand the character, even if he does genuinely love his daughter. A tiny bit of a better parent than Gangrene - poor kid, what a future for her.
Dunno what to make of Masood and Carol - but of course, this being EastEnders it will end in tears.

Sick of Lauren, the fish-faced nightmare. Lola had a much worse start in life, and is noticeably thicker and more mental, but she's behaving much better, and is a good mum to her (unwanted) baby, fathered by a murderer. Maybe that's what Fishface needs - a pregnancy and a baby. Oh, no. Let's not give the writers any ideas...

I'm so bored with these storylines. May help if the new heads could actually act. I was reading the comments about new Peter and most wanted Melissa back as Loosey because this one is bloody awful. EE needs a massive boot up the bum and ditch the kids.
