did anyone watch this last night? I started too but my husband wasn't enjoying it so we gave up. However left to my own devises I might of tried to see it to the end. I liked the characters.
Ratings wise the first episode didn't do too badly but still lost the ratings battle with BBC1's Waking The Dead.
On BBC1 between 9pm and 10pm, Waking the Dead drew 6.9 million viewers - a 28% Jericho got 6.3 million for the first hour when it went head to head with WTD. However over the two hours Jericho aired it averaged out at 5.9 million viewers.
Also from 9pm, 3 million viewers saw the terrestrial premiere of Spider-Man on Channel Five, which drew a 14% audience share across nearly two-and-a-half hours.
On Channel 4, 1.7 million viewers were seduced by 100 Greatest Sexy Moments - an 11% audience share between 9pm and 1.05am.
BBC2 was concentrating on snooker last night, with live coverage of the Grand Prix tournament gaining 2 million viewers and an 8% audience share from 8pm.

I enjoyed this. I liked the moody 50s lighting and theme. And I thought the characters and the story good. ( Even if complicated ) Loved the way he sent two of the coppers into the cell to sort out that bloke. Pity we can't have a bit of instant justice like that thesedays. ;D ;D

My dad did too but I skipped it because I'm sick of crime series. LOL! Yes Sooty. That's what we need now. None of this human rights for thugs and criminals crap.

I wonder if we'll have any episodes with smog, there was a lot of that about in the 50s.

I'm sick of crime series. You are me both - ITV show far too much of the same type of series.

The second episode of 50s detective drama Jericho, starring Robert Lindsay, had 4.7 million viewers, just over one in five of the audience at 9pm.
It was 1.2 million viewers down on its debut last week, and 2.4 million fewer than the 7.1 million who watched Trevor Eve in Waking the Dead.

I am not sure if I will watch it this week, there is something on BBC1 this Sunday that looks good.
I hope Spence in 'Waking the Dead is ok'.

LOL! Yes smog would be great. Won't be able to see anything like the strike of 1979! That's just what ITV needs right now. 3 months off the air. Patsy
