It's a male and he is no longer on the show. Thanks. Al's nan was 96 and had a great life. In the end it was a blessing, but still sad to lose a loved one. She died Wednesday, we were at the funeral home yesterday for viewing and today was the funeral-very fast here, not like in the UK.

Are you over 50?
96 is a very good age. I only know of my great-grandparents who died reasonably old at 76 for my great-grandmother and 81 for my great-grandfather. But I was only 4 so don't remember them except for hospital visiting. Most have died under 75. Both sets of grandparents died aged 50 so I never knew them. I can't even begin to imagine what it's like losing a grandparent.

Under 50
My Nana and two granddads died when I was very young as well. I didn't really get to know my other Nan as we lived so far away. I considered Al's Nan, my Nan as well. I used to take her to bingo many Friday nights and she had a trailer next to us for many years. We have lots of good memories.
