Hello folks....I am new to this site (am already a member of the Emmerdale one,under the name of Euronick)..have been a fan of Corrie for years..my earliest memories are of the Coach crash around 1969...my fave characters are......
1. Blanche Hunt.(says exactly what everyone else is thinking).
2. Kirk Sutherland.(a good comic character and criminally underused)
3. Norris Cole.(see above)
4. Rita Sullivan. (Duchess of Kabinville)
5. Gail Platt.(We have grown up with her since she was a teenager)
6. Chesney Brown.(What can i say...awww bless him)
7. Cilla brown.(Mother from Hell)
who are your fave characters??

  Hello there! Blimey, you HAVE been watching a long time. My earliest memories are Reet and Len's wedding but I do remember clearly Ernie Bishop's shooting and the lorry crash into the Rovers. My fave characters are: Reet Blanche Eileen Chesney Alan Bradley Ted Sullivan Mavis Hilda Patsy

I am also new. Unfortunately I have not been watching as long as you two. I have watched for about 11 years now.
I really like:
Ashley- (met him in real life and have been a fan since)
Jack and Vera- think they work well together
Norris and Blanche- they get some really good lines
Fizz and Kirk
Roy and Hayley -wish they would get a good story though.
I think I like most of the characters! They all add something to the show.

1. Norris (I think he's played very convincingly)
2. Hayley (Her character handles emotion and comedy well)
3. Shelley (she's just such a great girl)
4. Fred (He just needs a good woman...)
5. Audrey (...she just needs a good man)

Nah sorry, she isnt really one of my fave's. Mind you ive not seen much from the 60s which was when she was a regular in it, she wasnt in it that much in the eps from the late 70s which ive seen. |

Her appearances were few and far between in the late 70's..when she made her last appearance in 1980,they all expected her to come back,thats why she wasn't given a big send off..but illness prevented her from returning
