is wondering if wendy knows something they don't  (I had scottish parents Stix so my cumbrian accent does not sound the same as the people who were born around cunbria even though I was born and raised in cumbria , it does sound slightly soft gordieish ok |

Has something in common with me - I too have Scottish ancestry: my parents were Scottish, I was born in Scotland but have lived in London since a toddler. No trace of a Scottish accent left at all, it's pure London now.
