The following courtesy of Inside Soap
Home and Away star Nicholas Bishop who plays Det Peter Baker is set to return to the Bay, according to Inside Soap. UK viewers will see his character depart Summer Bay next month, but he will be back on Australian screens in the New year.

Sorry guys have been poorly so have not been able to keep things up to date  You should have seen Amanda by now and yes, it is good news about Nick coming back as Pete as long as he does not bring Claire!  |

Sorry to hear that Shaton, hope you are feeling better now.
Amanda appeared for about 3 episodes a few weeks back (around the time of Dan and leah's wedding) but she does come back as a regular as she is added to the opening titles. The next change to the titles is when and this is a spoiler coming up - Jessie is taken off, then they are updated for the new Holden family and finally Amanda is added. To be fair they do update the opening titles a lot.
Pete Baker is apparently coming back during the first week of Home away in Oz in 2006, he wont be back on our screens until later in the year, however Sharon you will be pleased to know he doesnt bring Claire back with him!

Yes I know all this now, and thanks for your comments on my illness, as you will no doubt already know, I am back, though not 100% as yet. Anyway, yes, Pete is back in at the moment, but Clair is - I don't what it is about this character, I am not sure it is the character I hate, I think it may be the the actress I don't know. They brought her in unnecessarily then Pete quite rightly saved the day, and they she was off agin after 'falling' in love with him after flirting with him rather than trying to catch the stalker. Even now, I can't understand why they are showing her. Glad she does not come back with Pete! Have you been watching the guides from Back to the Bay Jez? I think Pete needs a nice ENGLISH girl!!!! LOL |

LOL I really don't know what it is about Claire, but I cannot stand her, I think maybe Pete hit the nail on the head last night, when she PROPOSED to him and he told her she HAD to be in charge all the time. He has to leave the Bay for her. There is just something I don't like about her. He is nothing Special??? How dare you!!!!  LOL! Kim's ok but I like his Dad. And I haven't seen this Jack yet, so slow down and stop cheating! LOL I will get that news to you later as well. SO don't but in!!!!! (Good job you can take a joke mate!)  |

Before Claire left the Bay before, I thought she looked pregnant, but she doesn't seem to now Did it say anything about her being in it when Peter returns, or did I miss that.? |

Ah well ive seen pictures of Jack Holden and im in love already LOL! I hope it isnt a disappointment when he arrives on screen.
I like Claire but you will be pleased to know that she doesnt return with Peter as they split up. However ive heard that there is a possibility he might get together with Leah as and this is a spoiler coming up - Dan and Leah split up.

Right, this afternoon I have a job, of putting up some news, before Jez does!!!!LOL Yes, Sooty, I also noticed that with Claire the other day, that she has lost her 'bump' presumably she has had her baby. I am so pleased they spilt up, I really think she is the wrong one for him, though I think he would be still good for Sally, (Again watch out for this afternoon hopefully, got some news!) Jez, come one, answer the Q(!) are you watching spoilers from the Back to the Bay website, is that how you know what's happening, you sound as though you have watched them! |
