According to Wikipedia Janae is leaving, while a new family is arriving - Ned's older brother, his wife and their children.

I cant stand Ned either..he should have gone ages ago.
Janae is coming over quite likable now..shame if she is leaving.

No wonder ratings are falling when they keep the wrong characters. They haven't a clue, have they? They should have killed Ned rather than Stinger.

Veteran Neighbours actor Ian Smith has claimed that soap chiefs made a "huge mistake" by axing the Timmins family.
Executives decided not to renew the contracts of Nell Feeney, who plays Janelle, and Sianoa Smit-McPhee, better known as Bree, following the departures of Ben Nicholas (Stingray) and Damien Bodie (Dylan).
The actresses leave screens in Australia next month, but Smith - who plays Harold Bishop - does not agree with the decision.
"I think it was a huge mistake to get rid of them - I was in love with every single one," Ian told Inside Soap.
"Fortunately, we're still left with Janae, played by Eliza Taylor-Cotter. If you want an actress who's going places, look to her. She's a natural-born comedienne and a lovely person, too. If I could have been guaranteed of having a child like her in real life, I might have considered it."

I checked again on Wiki (not the most reliable source) and it looks as though I was wrong about Janae leaving. I probably misread it knowing me! Good news for all you Janae fans.

I hate the fact that both Janelle and Steiger are leaving....both terrific characters. And they have a great onscreen chemistry too which I like.

I hated Janelle to start with but she's grown on me. Again bad decision. Get rid of Pepper instead!
