Neighbours' storylines are set to be spiced up in a bid to win more viewers, it has been reported.

More exciting plots are promised in 2006, including a teen wedding. And fans of the Aussie serial can also expect two shocking exits.

Writers have also come up with a couple of pregnancies and a paternity dispute.

A nun will join the Erinsborough residents, and two popular characters will become involved in a romance together.

Neighbours celebrated its 20th anniversary last year.
