I am so glad they have got this! I do like Rodney but i don't think it suits him being 'cocky' about things. And I kept thinking when he was bragging that he had got it and was already redecorating that you should not count your chicks till they are hatched. I also knew that Spoilt Nicola would want to move in despite the fact they have just brought a house or at least Simon has, talk about a kick for Simon.

Yes he is cute but a pathetic specimen. No wonder Tom is disappointed in him. Though really he should be proud he wants to make his own way in the world. He may have got tired with sticking his arm up cows bums and gone into the business. Now that's an idea, Sharon. Patsy

Yes. Tom needs a boot up the bum. But to pay all that money towards his lifestyle must mean he's his favourite.

I think Carl is Tom's favorite, because he's the only one thats given him grandkids.

Yes I agree Carl is his fave. Carl gets away with doing sod all most of the time and Tom hardly ever gives him a hard time.

Yes but he has got a soft spot for Max. He is the baby of the family despite having more wrinkles than his brothers. You're right though, Alex. I forgot about the grandkids.

I too am glad that the Kings got Home Farm, because they are a family who can live up to the past of this house. Look at all the big stories it has had in the past? Would Rodney, Nicola and co. really be able to bring the same level of drama to the house?
It is all actually a bit bizarre - so many people fighting to get a house with only a kitchen, dining room and sitting room. Maybe we'll see more of the Farm once the Kings move in. I wonder who will get Holdgate Farm when they are in the other farm? A new family?
By the way, a friend of mine told me they remember Home Farm being sold for around £6m during the 90's, yet this time (despite property prices rising and rising) it went for under a million. Zoe needed to sell yeah, but would she really have sold for such a rubbish price?
And also whatever happened to Oakwell, Emmerdale's other big house?

I think they said it was about £3m Zoe was selling it for to Rodders. Oakwell's been mentioned quite a bit recently: Calum went for an interview there when Zoe told him she didn't want him to come with her, and Matt and Jimmy were planning on buying some land that was park of Oakwell for the access road before Max did the cows in.

I obviously don't watch closely enough do I? I'd love to see a return of Lady Tara for a few episodes - one of my favourite characters ever!

I wonder if they'll rebuild Home Farm? Zoe was desperate to sell but I don't know if that was the proper asking price. I know Callum was just driving Zoe and the kids to the airport but does anyone think he went with them since he proved his worth, or stayed behind? I'd like to think he went as Zoe knew he could be trusted to look out for her and the kids.

Yes he is cute but a pathetic specimen. Maybe, maybe not but he's a better man than his idiot brothers. because they are a family who can live up to the past of this house. No they can't anyone who has ever lived in Home Farm have being interesting maybe the exception being Stella but put her beside the Kings & she's fascinating.
