I haven't seen her yet because I'm behind again (it's so easy to get behind) but it seems they've done a Belle on her - new head and rebellious brat.

She's not that rebellious to be honest. She makes a lot of sense when she opens her mouth

I agree Madame she makes a nice change from the usual swap

Mmm, like I said, you can't really judge her at the moment as she is so new, but if it is right what the papers say and that they want a more 'bitchy' Victoria then I think the original one was good at that.

I liked Hannah. Okay so she wasn't that great in the acting department but there are far worse. But when it came to comic and other line delivery she was very good.

The jury is still out for me. I neither like or dislike the new Victoria. Isabel seems okay. Although I will always have a soft spot for Hannah.
Interesting that someone described Charley Webb a one horse pony. I haven't found that. She can cry and do high drama well and can sometimes make me laugh. The writing for her though is getting very seedy. I'm not keen on the character of Debbie but I think she plays a vital part in the show and I think Charley plays her well - putting aside what Charley may or may not be like in real life as a person.
I see people are still raving about Brooke Vincent, however there is one who started out so well and I thought she was great too but now just lately as she grows up I am finding that she is fast turning into a one trick pony. She still has cuteness on her side and can out act most of the stars on that soap these days. However maybe it is because I rarely watch CS that I notice. It seems that every time I see Brooke these days, she is always shaking her head around when she has to say something dramatic. Or is at the centre of the action. Next time she's on watch her clossely and see. One could get dizzy at the way she shakes her head about and it is getting predictable exactly when she will do it and how. Might work at the monent for her at 12 or 13 years old. But come 18 years when she is expected to be taken more seriously as an adult actor I will be interested to see what people think? She is going to need to do more than shake her head around to make a point and painted on tears.
Eden Taylor-Draper has not grown on me. I actaully find her really annoying to watch. And I still think another 5 years and others will be irked off with her too. She's cute and all but every line delivery is shrieked. At the moment there is no mistaking she is enthusiastic for the role and quite clear she enjoys it but she does sometimes muffle her lines and occasionally it is obvious the other actors have to cover for her or pull a face at her or touch her just before she is supposed to do something.
Eden is still young so as someone else said too young to really judge her true acting abilities. There are plenty of precocious 8 year olds around who could do what she is doing quite adequately and they would all be called great. When the cuteness goes that is when the talent can be truly judged.

I was irked by the new Belle within a week.
I called Charley Webb a one trick pony, simply because the writers only write her as a miserable teen and yes, now a seedy one. She's not enjoyable. I find Jack Shephard from Corrie enjoyable because he brings a lot more to the role.

I thought that whole thing with Debbie having sex on all that money really quite perverted for any time slot never mind 7:30 at night. What did you think Yasmin? The character is supposed to be only 16 and Charley herself is only 18! I know Debbie is supposed to be the biggest trollop's daughter, but even so, I just thought they took that too far and didn't need to be so explict.

I hated it, and not because I dont like either Debbie or Scott, but because they have written this 16 year old kid as a 36 year old woman and it was all wrong.
I don't mind a little bit of explict action between soap couples, but I do mind when it is young people involved.

I agree with you totally. It was the whole age thing that bothered me. If it had been Louise or Charity or someone else it wouldn't of been so bad.

I have a problem with Debbie being overexposed too. She's a 16 year old character who has had more dramatic storylines than a lot of the other women in the show

Well the way they are going, they are going to burn her out sooner rather than later. There comes a point how ever good a character is, if they are over exposed and take centre stage, they burn up and there is nowhere else to go. Where exactly is Debbie heading? From what I can see only one place, rock bottom. As Scott said "you don't ahve any friends." She's had the whole searching roots storyline, getting screwed up by mad parents, underage sex, a child and now she is getting into gambling and crime. It has just got to end somewhere.
Perhaps now Charley is legally an adult she might want to try other things soon too?

They will milk her until she's completely dry. I found Jasmine more interesting until they paired her off with Debbie.
As for Charley Webb... there's something about her I just don't like.

As to Charley Webb... well that's a whole new topic where does one begin I really like Jasmine but hated the whole Debbie/Jasmine story. Jenna-Louise Coleman comes over as a really nice person.

Yes I like Jasmin too and it was a pity she took up with Debbie.... I would have liked her to be a girlfriend to Daz but somehow he seemed too young... I do hope she doesn't get back with Debbie!

I'm glad Jasmine's back (is she yet?). She was too good to be Debbie's friend. But I do agree Debbie is over-exposed now. They do that a lot and then axe them, saying they've come to the end of their shelf life. Well whose fault's that? Too many eps all round. Too many same characters getting everything.

Yes Jasmine is back from what I last saw.
I like Jasmine and Daz together but always figured he was too young. If they are both around in a year or so it might matter so much, the age thing I mean.

how old is Jasmine supposed to be? as I thought she and Daz were roughly the same age group with him slightly younger they do make a good couple though.
