I'd love to see Maureen Lipman, one of my absolute fave actresses, guest start in the show as Perdy's mother. Maureen is Jewish so it would bring a wee bit of authenticity to playing her mother and also, well, I simply love Lipman!

They didn't use her to her full potential. She was wasted in Corrie.

Yes but she said at the time she wouldn't want to do longer. Still if Goodyear hadn't got sick we'd never had got Maureen at all to liven things up a bit.

Maureen should feel a little loyalty to Emmerdale... she's from Yorkshire herself. Although you wouldn't believe it with her being so well spoken

LOL! I can be. Sometimes they have been known to get things wrong like Wikipedia. But generally they're right. Like when IMDB list things under Corrie's KF which are actualy others with the same name.
