I think it was to show how older couples could still have kids and bring up a second family better than the first as does happen in real life, Viv and Bob now have the chance to do that, Viv might be pushing 50 but that isn,t old Yasmin ::)and she has three kids not two, Scott and Kelly less said about those two the better, selfish plain nasty, and Donna who is the nicest one out of Viv,s three kid,s ,she was busy working after she had them so wouldn,t have seen much of them, and Bob was a rep/salesperson so he wouldn,t have seen much of his kid,s the first time around as he would be travelling with his job. Perdy and Grayson might make a good couple but I,m not so sure they would make good parents and would you inflict Rosemary as a grandmother on to a child

Kelly is not Viv's daughter, Val. She is Vic's daughter.

And a 50 year old woman giving birth is too old. It's not right on the child who will start secondary school with A 60+ mother. And the older the mother is, the more tired she will be. The child has more chance of experiencing the loss of a parent in youth.

as Viv brought up Kelly she is also Vivs daughter as well as Vic,s daughter, Yasmin. I think w can disagree to agree about a 50 year old woman giveing birth as too old ok , Zac and his wife seem to manage ok with Belle at secondry school and they were no spring chicken,s when she was born were they? if Viv had been like many in the papers 60 plus giveing birth then yes I would have agreed with you as they are far too old ,.

I think Lisa Dingle was around late 30's when she had Belle.
And Kelly has always resented Viv as a stepmother, let alone a mother.

Wasn`t there a storyline last year about Viv willing to carry a baby for Donna as Donna couldn`t get pregnant?
I wasn`t able to watch Emmerdale for 18 months until recently so I am not 100% sure of the facts.
And I agree wholeheartedly....Viv is much too old to have babies. Although in a way its a good thing as when the twins are still in the nappy stage, Viv could start using Depends

Lisa looked in her 40,s to me Yasmin but you might be right and be fair Kelly resent,s everyone her mother/stepmother everyone but Scott . no Corriegirl the storyline was Donna was going to carry Viv,s baby to pay off her and Marlons morgage if Viv couldn,t get pregnant which she was dreading but Viv did get pregnant and Donna didnt have too .I don,t thhink she is that old to have kid,s but i could be wrong and don,t forget Viv has willing slave,s (sorry I mean people she treat,s like slave,s ;p) to help her with the twin,s there is Emily and Donna for a start.

I,ve no idea Corriegirl sorry yes I think Donna will have a career first too Patsy, she was overansious to foster those 4 kids though, Marlon was just going to go through with it to please her. Shudder sorry I thought of Kelly and Scott sleeping together it was like incest shudder not nice ,not on, what are the scriptwriter,s on these days?(more or less the same story in emmerdale kelly and scott (stepbrother and sister) and corrie (jamie/frankie stepchild and step mum)
