Here is our three word story - posted in full. Hilarious isn't it?
;D
The launderette exploded. Foam went everywhere. Dot fell from her wonky step-ladder into service wash number two. Pauline ran to help and dialled 999 then forgot which machine had erupted spilling it's load, flooding the floor.
Dot stood shakily, covered in suds, before lighting up her fag and surveying the damage. She said "Pauline, what a mess! Get a mop and call Opodopoulos who won't be happy about this."
Pauline went to the back room and made a cuppa. Opodopoulos soon arrived and said "Another attack?" Pauline shook her head and looked ashamed as she admitted she had been putting the wrong chemicals in with the clothes causing a powerful reaction.
Mr Opodopolos was in no mood for apology's from idiots like Pauline. As he turned he spotted Dot hiding the bottle of gin which was poking out behind the laundry. She hiccupped and looked innocently at Pauline for reassurance. Mr Oppodopolous was now fuming and surprised at Dot for her drunken appearance at work and also Pauline's sloppy way of loading the machines.
Pauline was trying not to laugh and failing miserably. This was funny! But not to Mr Opoudopoulos who was now furious and locked the laundry to have a serious meeting with Pauline and Dot who had now started to shake and tremble. Pauline rushed to put 'CLOSED' up on the door and then turned around to face a definite sacking from Mr Oppodopolous.
Mr Oppodopolous screamed at them both 'You are both fired.' Pauline reacted by putting her head in her cardigan in shame. Dot stood trembleing. Jim peered through the laundry door and spotted Pauline looking ashamed. Jim had noticed Dot trembleing like a leaf. He waved at her to get Pauline to open the door but she couldn't find the key and didn't want Opoudopoulos to turn around and see Jim's black eye or it would make Dot worse and she was stressed enough.
However Opoudopoulos glanced Jim was standing there and decided to open the door and Jim entered and said "Dot - I've been mugged!" Poor Dot shook her head and cried and cried "Oh poor Jim" she sobbed, and hugged him close.
Mr Oppodopolous looked sad and realised it was over for today and went home, leaving Pauline and Dot feeling tired. Jim comforted the women but they knew that he wanted attention and sympathy for being mugged so just gave him a cuppa tea instead and were keen to gossip about everything over tea. A stressed Dot was not sorry about Peggy's boy's as they discussed their arrests with Jim over the recent lock-ins at the pubwhich caused controversey since the police raided not long since and found Phil doing dodgy things with spritzers.
