Is Amos dead or alive? I never could see Annie and Amos. Annie and Henry Wilkes, yes. I thought they'd have got together all those years ago.
Oh definitely. Can they do another beheading while she's in Espana por favor?

I remember that but is Amos still alive in the same sense DL reckoned Ena Sharples and Elsie Tanner were?

Ena surely can't be alive..she'd be about 115 now lol
I remember seeing an special recorded episode (or video I can't remember) when Linda came back to the street to visit Emily and Ken and Emily said to Linda she was 'sorry to hear about Elsie'

Oldest women in the world! That would be The Life and Loves of Elsie Tanner video released as a tribute to Pat Phoenix in 1987. Mike and Emily and both said it. None of the videos are considered canon which is bloody stupid. No point making them then. Patsy

Stars bid farewell to Emmerdale veteram
Stars and family have paid their respects to Emmerdale star Clive Hornby at a private funeral service in Leeds.
The Liverpool-born actor, who played Jack Sugden in the ITV1 soap for nearly three decades, died earlier this month at the age of 63.
He was the longest-serving cast member on the soap, appearing for 28 years.
His last scenes were shown in February, but the actor returned to work, determined to beat a mystery illness.
He recently said of his longevity on the programme: "I can't believe I'm still here sometimes. Some of the kids in the show weren't even born when I started.
"But I love it. I must be a survivor because 28 years is a long time to survive in a soap. I can't imagine leaving."
Since taking over the role from Andrew Burt on February 19, 1980, his character married three times, had five children, and suffered plenty of on-screen strife.
In real life, he married Helen Weir, who played Pat in the soap. They divorced eight years ago and have a son, Tom.
Hornby started his working life as an accounts clerk, but later enjoyed success as a drummer with pop group The Dennisons in the 1960s.
When the group split, he turned his attention to acting, and attended the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art before going into repertory theatre.
He also appeared in army sitcom Get Some In!, Gerry Anderson's Space 1999 and Minder alongside George Cole.

That was a lovely thought of Clives family to have his screen wife travel with them at the funeral. Good to see Sheila Mercier again after all these years too...she looked great.I wonder if she can be persuaded to make an appearance in Emmerdale if there is a funeral for Jack?
