This could turn out to be a long rant so bear with me....it`s been building up for months ever since the stupid baby swap storyline.
When I first read about Kym coming into Corrie, I wasn`t best pleased but figured I`d reserve judgment until I saw what she was like for myself. She wasn`t bad, and at times I genuinely liked her. But as time got on my dislike for her turned into out and out hate.
The constant fiddling about with her hair, the constant face like a slapped arse, the constant wearing of short sleeves (even in winter) to show off her tattoos on her arms. Yeah Kym we get it...they`re your kids names. And not to mention her sitting on her arse with her arms folded constantly when there was work to be done.
What really put the tin hat on things was that she had the audacity to throw Steve out of his own pub...the pub where she was hired as a barmaid. No other barmaid - not even Bet Lynch got as much authority especially not to hire and fire people. Her name isn`t above the door and I hope it never will be.
I am so sick of seeing her face in the tabloids too. Whether it`s being lovely dovey with Warren from Hollyoaks, or at some awards party. Does she forget she has kids, or does she use them only for publicity purposes when her face/name hasn`t been plastered in the papers for a few weeks.
It`s Jack Ryder I really feel sorry for. He gave up his role as Jamie Mitchell for her - just so he could babysit her kids. And what reward did he get after 6 years? kicked to the kerb!
Then I read on various websites that she was the same selfish cow even before she ever met Jack. I wish I could find the article, but can`t remember where I saw it.
I hope the powers that be at Corrie start reading some message boards and blogs and realise that Miss Hell Conner is ticking off loads of people.

Shorter than I thought it would be!
KM is the new KF and they never learn. Until they get a producer with a brain certain 'stars' will be rammed down people's throats until they're choking. It needs to return to rotation.

lol Pats. I`m not at the 'Come back KF - all is forgiven' stage yet. But a year off from watching KM wouldn`t be too much to ask would it?
I bet if the rumours are true and she does bugger off for a while, who will end up looking after Ryan? Steve muggins McDonald of course.

Miss Hell and Prawn caterwaul in a few weeks. It's deliberate because they know how much CG hates them so they're tormenting her. CG you should sue!

I hope you weren`t eating and I made you choke on your food  It will soon be Connernation Street the way it`s going. And there was me thinking it would be Cottonation Street. Why can`t ITV admit they made a mistake with the above mentioned? Can`t they see that Corrie isn`t winning best soap because of prawn and Miss Hell? They`re putting all their eggs in one basket and they`re coming up as scrambled as their brains |

LOL! Good phrasing. They never learn and I blame Kieran. He started all this with Richard then Tracy 4. Everyone else was pushed into the background.

Just the other day Pats I was watching an eppy of Corrie from 1989 (where Alan Bradley kissed a tram and died lol). Dawn Acton was on there as a very young Tracey of (I think) 12 years old. Even at 12 Dawn was more professional and natural than KF was in her 30`s.

As I've mentioned in another thread - I agree that the character of Michelle is becoming very tedious, but I still reckon Kym Ryder is doing a decent enough job - it's the material she's working with that's causing the problems, and I don't think she's got much say in that!

LOL CG! That's because kissing the tram was preferable to kissing Reet. Dawn was good. She wasn't perfect but only a child so still learning her craft. KF has NO excuses for being appalling. Also, blackcatz, being rammed down people's throats constantly. If they returned to the rotation system maybe people wouldn't get bored so fast with characters. It's the same in all soaps. I wish EE would rest the bloody Brannings/Slaters. Patsy |

I`m sick to death of the Mitchells (except Phil), and I`m only halfway through the marathon session lol.
Then again I always was sick of the Bitchell sisters anyway.

Oh I hate them but it's not been as bad as the Brannings since Christmas week. There are still plenty of other things going on so it's not completely monopolising - yet.

Wow Miss Hell must be bad if Jez is joining us in the hate group. And this is not the only forum who hates her guts either. Over at DS they despise her more than I do. At CorrieBlog they detest her too...even the Canadian fans who are months behind in episodes lol

I would rather Liam stay too. Maybe if Steve doesn't want him (instead of Michelle) I could pop over to the UK and take him off everyones hands. I mean why would Steve stick with Michelle after all the grief she has given him,and then there was Karen and Tracy and the rival taxi owners wife that went nuts..... He should try changing his life style. Then again I could pop over and see him too but I prefer Liam first .
