That's exactly it, Sharon. It's all down to the storyliners and writers and they're clearly not doing their job so they get rid (or actors leave for one reason or another), bring in a new character similar then do the same for them. If they wrote properly for the ones already there then there wouldn't be any need for new casting.

Precisely my point yes, if they took more care of the current characters they have rather than bring more in, they would do much better, I mean ok look at it from this view then, ok they bring in this new Wylde family, but wheres the Kings?? Gone?? No they are still in the soap, so why the hell dont they take the Kings and 're develop them' like for instance, I notice now Carl has....got more better and last night, him and Jimmy agreed on 'emmerdale haulage' so people would still do business with them rather than with the King name, so they are doing something with the character from a different angle - so then leave the Wyldes out as they are not needed.

But I know what they silly PTB are thinking 'OOh lets have a power battle between The Wyldes and Kings' WOW exciting...NOT

I wonder if they are hoping this family will be the new 'Tates' ?

Yeah. Didn't we have that already with the Tates and Kings? Do they just dig out old scripts and reword the dialogue, thinking no one will notice they're getting deja vu?

We have had with the Kings and Tates the same thing, I mean, the Tates (Chris & Zoe) had a half brother Liam, and lo and behold what have the Kings got in Scarlett?? A half sister

So yes I dont know what difference this Wylde family are going to bring what is going to be so different.

I think so Patsy, yes, they do re word things, and when you think about it, it is an insult to the viewers intelligence
