From the Sun: Exclusive Tina's 'not yet' to Corrie By CARA LEE Published: Today FORMER Corrie favourite Tina O’Brien has not ruled out a return to the cobbles — but not until her new baby grows up. Tina, who played Sarah Platt, quit in 2007 and had a little girl last October with the show’s Ryan Thomas. She told TV Biz: “I was there for eight years. I love the people. I loved the show very much, but it’s a long time to be in one place. “I wouldn’t say that I’d never go back but for the time being I can’t. “I’m with Scarlett and I’m enjoying that.” The 25-year-old plans to have more kids with Ryan (Jason Grimshaw) — but may return to acting one day. She explained: “For the time being I love being a mum and I’m concentrating on that. But I love acting too, so we’ll have to see.” Tina is currently fronting the launch of Fairy’s new Non Bio Gel and Celebrating Our Little Ones campaign, which encourages all mums to celebrate every moment with their children. See www.fairynonbio.co.uk/index.htm for more information.

PML Pats. I have my bunting stashed away in my shed for that eventuality Pats. In all seriousness, I`m glad Tina is enjoying motherhood. Scarlett is such a sweet little poppet, I can understand why Tina prefers to stay home with her. It`s wonderful that she`s involved in such a worthwhile charity. Good for her. If the truth be known I`d prefer her in Corrie than Demon David anyday of the week.

LOL! I think Tina M's acting will show up Tina O'B's as limited. They never really should have recast Sarah. Tina didn't look like the 12/13 years old about to pop. Lynsay should have been given a chance. But as usual they ditch those they underuse for a pretty face regardless of talent. That was the beginning of Pratt monopoly. They should have been rested so often but weren't and still aren't. There are other characters and TPTB ought to remember that instead of constantly using the same ones. I've often wondered what Tony Warren thinks about what they've done to his show since it's even a far cry from what it was at the turn of the century.
