Coronation Street's ‘Sexiest Male’ to make West End debut

The West End hit Calendar Girls have announced a new cast which takes to the London stage for ten weeks only commencing November 3 at the Noel Coward Theatre.
Once voted as Coronation’s Street ‘Sexiest Male’ actor Rob James Collier is due to make his West End debut next month in Calendar Girls.
Collier played Liam Conner and will be making his West End debut as the photographer Lawrence. He will appear alongside Coronation Street legend Julie Goodyear as she makes her West End debut as Cora (Miss July). Goodyear appeared in ITV soap opera Coronation Street for 25 years as Bet Lynch.
Ex-newsreader Jan Leeming will appear as Lady Cravenshire. Kelly Brook will strip off as Celia (Miss September) along with Janie Dee as Annie (Miss February). Comedian Helen Lederer will take the healm as the leader of the Yorkshire branch of the WI.
Other stars are Debbie Chazen from BBC series Doctor Who will play Ruth while star of The Fast Show Arabella Weir will play Chris (Miss October)
The new cast will take to the stage on November 3 until January 9, 2010. The play is an adaption from the 2003 screenplay. The story follows the Rylstone Women’s Institute in North Yorkshire on their journey to produce a naked calendar - money raised being used for leukemia research after the husband of one of its members is taken ill with the condition. The calendar is a huge success and sells throughout the world outselling Britney Spears.
Produced by David Pugh and Dafydd Rogers the splay donates their normal booking fee on each ticket sold (£1.50) to Leukaemia Research. To date raising £150,000 for the charity.
