Katherine Kelly's flat has reportedly been ruined by flooding caused by a burst pipe.
The Coronation Street actress, who spent the festive period with her parents in California, faces a bill of up to £50,000 for the damage.
The Mirror reports that Kelly, who plays Becky McDonald in the soap, will have to move out while works are carried out to fix damage at the two-bed, Manchester property.
A friend said that the 30-year-old was trying to keep it out of her mind until her return to the UK. "The apartment is very, very badly damaged and could need gutting. She may have to move out for a while," the source said.
