A very sad day today..Monday 1st August 2005...I have to announce the death of Coronation Street...It was taken from us suddenly at the age of 44.It didn't suffer for long approximatley 6 months from the peak of health to its final gasp.
seriously..Tonights epsiodes were the worst 2 episodes I have ever seen. They were boring, unfunny, repetitious, ridiculous.
In the old days if Tracey had tried that "Steve threatened me" crap..Deirdre would have said "I want a word with you lady"..she just wouldnt stand for it,If anyone knows about false accusations its Deirdre
So its goodbye From me Corrie..i have finally given up..I shall still come in here for the Quiz and to chat..but as for the programme..I have watched my last episode
and it breaks my heart..I have watched Corrie for over 30 years

LOL! I tried watching during both but ended up switching off. Louise had scratched my leg quite badly so my planned soak was delayed. I'm glad you're sticking around, Nick. After all, there's still other things to talk about too like Dr Who! ;D

I wonder how many true and loyal fans have actually switched off since Richard or during the past year?

That is so sad to see a long time viewer stop watching Corrie. Glad to see you will not be leaving us Nick. I am always amazed by how much Corrie knowledge you have and share with us.

A shame to see so many long term fans are giving up on Corrie. Monday's episodes were pretty poor, hopefully now this ridiculous boxing storyline and the fish storylines are over.
However what I saw yesterday on the set of Corrie it looks like their obsession with animals is continuing.....

TPTB are all swines so it's hightly apt.
It's not making me want to tune in you know. In fact it's making me want to become a mermaid instead. At least I'll be able to swim. LOL!

Patsy Well whatever it is they should be filming storys for September now I think, so the silly season should be over. Those back gardens could do with a tidy as well. Mind you the fence in Gails I think is meant to be broken as Scooter did it?

Didn't it get fixed?
I doubt it if there's pigs now. Silly season seems to be in their heads. New writers needed. SANE storyliners needed!

So many things happen recently I forget, and that storyline didnt exactly have me gripped. I did notice they have bolts on the fences so they can open and shut them like gates. They should put that in adverts - Sane people need only apply.

LOL! That rules out 95% working in the TV industry then. I know what you mean. It's been in one ear and out the other for me since going 4 times. Nothing's developed properly or you get them going round in circles so you can miss it for months and nothing changes. Or you get daft short-term storylines. Patsy

I said they were obsessed with animals. We had puppies in it tonight and Liz said she had a bird. Whatever next.

I saw the puppies when I was flicking through trying to find Barbara. Took me back 19 years to my 4. Patsy

Yes, Jezziekins. She said a whole 3 words. Wow! Well done, Nick! That's much better than watching this drivel. Don't go mad now and take over Granada with it. You need to win at least another fiver for that. Patsy

Jezziekins, she said, "Hello, love" in reply to Sean then, "Eeee" at the end of the scene. My mum said she wasn't in it until I pointed out I saw her listed (she's meant to tell me). Then she said she didn't say anything! LOL!
Can I be an exec when you take over Granada, Nick?
