We listened to Bettys Desert island discs..I thought she sounded a bit bitter about her past and geoff went off her as soon as she said she didn't like Gracie Fields lol

It would be nice if Eileen Derbyshire got some recognition considering she`s just celebrated her 50th year in Corrie.
I know she`s a very private person away from Corrie, but she deserves a tribute like Betty Driver.

This made fascinating viewing. I knew she had lead an interesting life but what she did was amazing. She comes over as a lovely lady and very approachable...I can't get over the fact she weighed 12lbs when she was born.  Her mother sounded horrible. |

We watched this documentary tonight...it was good...but for someone who told us her mother virtually forced her on the stage she seemed to enjoy it lol

I still have it, Nick. I've had it a few times this winter but never did before. It's global warming, I tell ya! LOL! My dad got me some Sudafed so I'll try that tomorrow if it's the same. It makes me really tired as well. Hope you're not feeling so bad.
