My god! Oh I loved the episode where David came face to face with Stubbsy. There was some excellent scenes there from both actors! I loved it when Charlie opened the door and yanked David in. That was great. I also loved how David was there begging "please Charlie, please Charlie!" and Stubbsy turned round and said "you are very well mannered freak" or words to that effect. Then the part when he tested the water with his elbow saying that this was what Tracy did with Amy, and then offering David did he want bubbles? LOL I nearly pissed myself when he got the duck and squeezed it in front of David's face. Amazing how something so innocent and nice can become so menacing in someones hands. I liked his remembering of his mother "When I was a kid my mother would say she would pull the plaster off at 3" DUNK!!! Pulls him out. "But she always did it when I wasn't ready. Wicked woman!" LOL!! Priceless! Bathtub £100, heating water costs £5 the look on David Platts face as he is taught a lesson - priceless! There really are some things money canot buy! "Who put the ram in rama lamma ding dong?" "Uh..." "WRONG ANSWER!" DUNK!!! LOL Oh my god, this has made my year! Charlie you sexy God amongst men!

Those scenes were very good - showed Charlie at his insane best.
Unfortunately David - being a similarly unhinged psycho - will not learn to behave himself after this experience, but will rather learn to emulate Charlie's behaviour.

Calm down pablo...you'll blow a gasket lol I so don't care! LOL It was just so beautiful to see! Like poetry in motion! I loved Charlie's attitude as well when Maria walked in, and Stubbsy told him "don't ham up your part in this!" Classic! Im so glad I DVD'd it. Pearly I agree, that really was Stubbser at his best.

I so can't help myself! You know how much I think Charlie is great, so doing such a thing to David just elevates him to legendary status in my book. When you think about it..... Isn't Charlie a kind of an anti-hero? I mean think about it loguically guys. We are all meant to hate the man, and we probably do, but how many of us cheered him on when he dunked David Platt? I mean come on! Also, look how much we all hate Tracy for being such a cow, and for being like a block of wood. Or whatever reason you have to hate her, each to their own. But we all love to see her get treated like crap....... or I do anyway. So Stubbsy s a hero.

A hero in some respects, perhaps, but mostly he is an appalling liar, a three/four/five-timing philanderer, a vindictive bully, a self-centred narcissist and an unscruplulous hard-hearted borderline crook with no conscience of any kind. Come to think of it, other than the fact that he mistreats other very unlikeable characters, I can't think of any other redeeming features of Charlie Stubbs whatsoever.

What's that keeping David's arms tied behind his back? It looks like one of charlie's checked shirts.

Brilliant stuff - some of best scenes in Corrie for eons. Great lines, great acting from both of them, and I still can't decide which of them I detest most. ;D
10/10

Better character I agree, but more evil!

Yes most definately more evil, but, lately that evil is kinda being used in a good way. Its putting David Platt in his box, and making Tracy very upset. I dislike Tracy and David far more than Stubbsy, largely because I think Stubbsy is very handsome.
