We had ours yesterday. No idea who turned them on. My dad thinks it was someone recently sacked from Radio Solent for being old. But a young and elderly lady on the bus going home were telling us about how there was fake snow and Father Christmas was going to be rescued from the roof of Waitrose by the fire brigade. We were down there for 5 but were too bloody cold to stay and watch.
