Yes. It will be interesting to see why Violet doesnt get on with her family. I vaguely remember Violet explaining things to Jason (at least I think it was Jason), didn't she have an affair with a married guy who was also a family friend and it because of that she fell out with her family. Any explanation to the pain in her shoulder? Patsy The doctor said it was due to a build up of pressure. Googling it apparently the shoulder pain is 'refered pain' or when the tube ruptures the bleeding puts pressute on the diaphragm causing a pain in the shoulder. I like Violet as a character I'm pleased she's finally getting a storyline I just wish it wasn't so depressing. After the terrible start to 2007 I'd like to see her have a happier storyline next. Although I can't help but feel that the fact Jason gets a baby dumped on his just a week before Violet finds out she can't have children isn't just a coincidence. |

So do I - I think she's one of the most promising characters to have joined for quite a while, and I find the actress totally believable in the role too. I also agree that she's been underused so far, but maybe they have long-term plans for her, and are just gradually building up her part?

A little late to comment - I seem to be 2 days behind the news at the moment - but I really enjoyed Wednesday's scenes with Violet and Sean. It was nice to Sean remember that he is supposed to be Violet's best friend because during the Jamie storyline he seems to have forgotten that in favour of the floppy haired one.
Jamie annoyed me when with his whole I would have been there as he didn't stay for Violet and the baby he stayed because Frankie chucked him.
It'll be intreresting to see where they take this storyline now.

I can't help but think Jason and Holly are going to have something to do with her storyline. It's too much of coincidence that a baby lands in Jason's lap just a week before Violet loses hers and is told she'll probably never be able to have children.

Violet's recovered fast, hasn't she? She had an operation (I presume) so would still be sore and swollen and she's lounging around, wearing the same clothes and walking as normal. By heck. It must be summat they out in t'water up there.

I'd like to know what they're all on up there. I took 2 weeks to recover full mobility after my last op 3 years ago and 10 months for one 11 years ago.

After last weeks episode with Jamie and Violet in the pub I really hope they are not going to have them get back together now Frankie has gone. I think they need someone new for Violet, or they should let her be single and just have fun.
