According to Teletext, Law and order, the original and Criminal intent may get the axe.
The channel that does them is bringing out soon it's new season's plans for the season and it is not sure if it will be back on.
Both shows have had a decline in ratings, and is very expensive to make, so it would make sense to get rid of them.

I have not seen the new version ( minus Green and Briscoe ) yet.
I don't think it would be the same without them., so I would not miss it.
I would miss Criminal Intent though, it's one of my favourites.

US axings/pickups will be confirmed in mid May. I hadn't heard about the original L&O being under threat however it is very old now. 1993 perhaps? I had heard the spinoff was in trouble!

Yes i think you are right Sooty. The latest news is Special Victims Unit is safe. No final decision will be made on the other 2 until May when next season's schedule is announced. There is a high chance that at least one if not both will come back next season. NBC and show creator Dick Wolfe are looking at ways to cut the budget so they can continue.
