I quite enjoyed the French ep tonight. I've also always thought Mark Wingett was a pretty crap actor but he's only ever really been in The Bill. He wasn't too bad in his few minutes tonight so he may still be crap. LOL! They didn't do too bad with the comedy I thought.

Dear god, i knew it wouldn't be too bad if i missed this week's entire lot but i'm in danger of being be bored to death.
Now don't get me wrong i'm interested in the Miller side, and you know garry and minty are for comedic purposes over the week, but it's Gus and Juley who are really getting on my wick!
They should've kept Juley axed and taken Gus with him, how much longer do we have to suffer these two p[ointless characters who contribute nothing to the show.?! It's the writer's faults of course but really, you know Gus is saying all this and in a few weeks he'll be same old gus still (unless convivted for breaking into that car), so why bother? *Yawn*

I don't really know Gus and Juley but they do seem to be pointless additions in these eps. And Gus's (?) dialogue about having no kids etc was just the same as what Minty had just said so what was the point?

I saw some of last nights episode. I think that Dawn will be a good addition, but I am not really keen on her father. Also I don't like the "lad's in France" storyline. It would have been far better if Gus had been left behind. Maybe he could get a love interest, and have a long running (well six months, I don't mean "Shannis" the second) will they, won't they? story.
I would have rather seen Garry & Minty head out, and maybe run into a few old EE characters. Can't think who? Someone from 2000 onwards. Some of the diMarco's or something like that maybe. It'd be only for one week.

I was dreading the France episodes this week and personally, I can't wait till its all over. I found the whole gary/minty gus/juley stuff tedious to say the least and the whole mickey/dawn/father thing wasn't much better. I'm missing peggy already! I don't see why they didnt just have Dawn just arriving on the Millers doorstep - that way, we wouldn't have to put up with this drivel. Dawn is a good-looker although theres something not quite right about her - can she act? I dunno (I'm too busy looking) - I'm just not impressed with what I saw and I just feel that it won't be long before shes packing her bags and leaving Walford like the rest!

LOL! She's not that bad at acting. So what's the story here? How many are Keith's kids? Why is Mickey called Miller when Keith and Rosie aren't married? Why does Mickey's real sister look like him if he's meant to look like his real soap dad when she's Keith's? I'm confused and feel like I'm watching an episode of Soap!
Maybe because I'm not a regular I'm enjoying these. I don't know as much as everyone else about the histories of the characters (or who they are half the time).

The Millers hmmm... I'm pretty sure that Mickey and Dawn are this Mike Swann's kids who your watching now and Darren and Demi are Keiths (correct me if I'm wrong... I should know this ). I think perhaps the reason for using the name Miller is more because he resented his dad so much for walking out when he was a kid and he actually felt that Keith was more of a dad to him Maybe. EDIT: If you look here, you can see their family tree.

Thanks for the link, Richy. The Millers are very complicated if you're not a regular viewer. Patsy

Hmm, what is going on with Michael whatnot? I had hoped those frillies would turn out to be his! I was imagining him wearing big lacey knickers in every scene afterwards. I need help. LOL! I do hope all will be revealed (in a manner of speaking) tomorrow.

LOL! Very disappointed tonight Mike wasn't the owner of the frillies and that he came back at all. But next week it's back to business. Patsy

I just discovered how truly brilliant the EE web team are. It says on the website that Keith and Rosie are married, when in fact there was a big deal made in the show about how they were not married.
And Patsy if you think the Millers are a confusing lot try Pat's family tree. She's related to the whole Sqaure somehow!

I think I read or saw the ep when they said they should get married. Why is Mickey called Miller?
LOL! Oh dear, Eithne. I think I'll give Pat's family treea miss if it's that confusing.
Why do these programmes get more like that old comedy Soap every day? LOL!

The most annoying thing for me is when some relatives disappear and never return for funerals/weddings - even if their parent/sibling/spouse dies - and then others turn up out of the blue, despite their family members being around on the show for 20 years or more in some cases (an example of which is Pat!).

LOL! Yes. There are many examples of that all round, aren't there? Or ones that have never been mentioned before arrive.

Carol had 4 kids by different men, the last one being Alan Jackson and they weren't married at first for a long time, yet Bianca, Robbie and Sonia were all called 'Jackson' as well as little Billy.

Oh yeah. I remember that really confused me when I first started watching. It was nice when Robbie and Billy turned up for Sonia's wedding day in a couple of scenes. Been lovely if Bianca and Carol had as well. (Sorry for going off topic there!)
