Grant Mitchell is highly punchable but Ross Kemp is supposedly a nice guy, so it's unlikely she smacked him in self defence.

She's been released without charge apparently. It was noticeable the BBC news gave that more coverage than hospital negligence, which got all of 30 seconds! Poor Ross. Must have been some row.

Poor Steve McFadden got attacked by his ex the same day as well!! Maybe they should have a soap about the stars of a soap. With the likes of Jessie Wallace, Steve McFadden and Ross Kemp it would never be boring.
Seriously though - anyone else find the way the newspapers joke about these things a little distasteful? Domestic violence isn't an issue to be laughed at (I saw a very distasteful headline on the Mirror about the whole issue). If the attacks had been made by the men their careers would be over, but if the women do the same thing it doesn't matter (despite the fact that SMF was allegedly holding a child when he got attacked)

There is a lot of double standards when it comes to domestic violence. I did feel sorry for them both.

It is very ironic that the Sun ran a campaign on domestic violence as well, don't you think?
