Not really looking forward to his return at all! It will just be revisiting of the same, tired old stories. I'm really annoyed that they couldn't have gotten Charlie Brooks back for the trial.
Apparently she couldn't come back because she was doing other work. So why did they have to have it this coming week? Surely Frank could have returned some time other than next week, and maybe Ricky could have as well for a week.

It does seem stupid he'll be apparently sleeping with Pat to get her to change her story. What's the point of that?

Vey unoriginal, aren't they? "Hello, babe" is the same as "Hello, princess" and, "Hello mum"!

At least it's only temporary, i like Frank, but even i would be up in arms if it was more permanent. At least you can look forward to it passing.

It hasn't been too, too bad so far I think. Frank's return hasn't dominated the show - and I felt sorry for him finding out his daughter had (supposedly) robbed Laura's baby of its mother. The Jean/Stacy stuff has been brilliant, with Lacey Turner having imporoved a hundred fold since she first appeared on the show. It was gripping stuff. I really felt sorry for Stacey when she was on the street outside the house - with everyone looking at her. The actress who plays her mother has also been brilliant - with some cracking lines. I'm also loving the final conclusion to Killer Chrissie's storyline. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens to her. Felt sorry for Jake when she went mad at him - but her line was brilliant. "Where will we go on our honeymoon - Alca-bloody-traz?"

"I'll always love you babe" and "I could never hate you" were the imortal words Frank said to Pat but did he honestly mean them or was he just buttering her up?
It's alot for Pat to forgive and now Frank has shown his true colors over the Janine situation and is like a rabid dog for the truth. Is this the end of the great love affair of 50 years for Pat and Frank do you think?

Definitely. That was good last night. I'm not that keen on Pam St. Clement or her acting. But she was good when she realised Frank's deception. Now we see what happens tonight! Has it been explained why they went off with other people instead of staying together all those years?

You mean when they were childhood sweethearts? I don't really know. I was a little dissapointed that Pat backed down tonight to be honest. Though my main interest tonight was Stacey's plight. Up to know i had been semi interested but Lacey Turner blew me away tonight, and i'll be definetly watching the omnibus. SO was that her brother? Did he die or something? So many more questions, so many more answers to come! I've anew found respect for Ms Turner. And overall... EE is definetly on the up and up compared to Coronation Sleep

I was too but not surprised Janine did a flit leaving Frank standing (well, sitting) there like a prize pillock.
I agree about Lacey Turner. She was really excellent tonight. So was the actress playing her mother. I didn't much like that bit in the pub where Stacey yelled at everyone. But the stuff with her mother in the hospital was very good. I'm sure someone will come up with answers to your questions.
LOL! I love that term and must remember it.

I missed it last night and tonight, but I am going to try my best to see the omnibus (yes! as I sit here guiltily looking at the tape of the Alfie/Nana episode in France!). I read about Sean on the Beeb's EE recap and was surprised myself. I'm guessing he might have mental issues as well or something. It will be ages before we see him I guess - as nobody has been cast in the role yet I'm guessing or it would have been announced.
But I'm assuming since they mentioned him that he will be arriving?
Lacey Turner has improved vastly since she first appeared. I love the character of Stacey now, compared to when she first arrived and was a clone of every other teenage soap character. Monday and Tuesday's episodes were brilliant (some of the best scenes of EE all year!), so fingers x'd I'll see the other two episodes.
Apparently there are plans to make Stacey as big as Kat was in her heyday (of the Zoe, then Alfie storylines) during 2006.

Not that big I hope! That ep in France was brilliant. Top class writing and acting all round. I know Johnny's leaving. Is Ruby as well? I think she and Stacey make a good team. Patsy

I haven't heard anything about Ruby - so hopefully she will be staying. She and Stacey are a brilliant team. I'd say that she will be staying, considering they've got at least two new male characters arriving (Deano Wicks and Bradley Branning) as well at the rumoured return of a recast Stephen Beale and a possible arrival for Sean Slater. So those guys are going to need girlfriends I'm guessing.

I know what you mean about the pub scene, the way she came in i was expeting something better but it didn't take anything away from the storyline as a whole. I think some extra dialogue and not just shouting at everyone was needed personally.
The hospital scenes were great though. I loved that close-up shot of her mum where you just saw her one eye peeking out! Some very good understated acting from the mother.
Personally i hope Ruby stays, i love watching her, there's something very natural about Louisa Lytton's performance, even on the very small scale stories or just little no-plot scenes, such as the gun story with johnny, girl talk with Stacey, or scenes with Juley.

The one eye peeking out reminded me of Revelation of the Daleks when someone's dad (who was meant to be dead) was actually more than half Dalek. I wonder if we'll see the mother again? Kat and little Mo are going so that frees up some space at the Slater's. LOL! I like Ruby. I agree about her being natural. She can move in with the Slater's too! Patsy

What i like about Ruby is she has a bit of a mousey complex to her, without the "look worried and hunch your shoulders up" routine, also known as the "Little Mo/KaceyAinsworth Syndrome" But with Kat and Little Mo gone a quiter SLaters might actually be nice, seeing Charlie and Big Mo trying to keep a reign on two teenagers (With Ruby moving in with the Slaters - which she must do! SHe must stay in the square!)

I haven't read anywhere about Ruby going. I remember there was stuff about Tina and Johnny. Maybe they are planning on keeping her.

Pat didn't give evidence. She told the lawyer or whatever he was she remembered Janine was with her after talking to Laura's mum. Then Frank waited and waited like a plank only to then find out Janine had buggered off.

Thanks for the update. What was the point of bringing Frank back just for a couple of episodes to wind Pat up? Where were Ricky, Diane and Claire?
