Okay the snow was cliched. And how many didn't guess Sharon has had a change of history and was now up the duff? Apart from that, it wasn't too bad. The thing with the bird for a tenner being a parrot was quite funny. Alfie and Kat going off together has to be one of the worst kept soap 'will they/won't they' secrets. Rosie obviously still has some sort of feeling for Jim Carver from The Bill. Maybe he'll get together with Johnny (aka: Don Beech) and it will be like old times. LOL! Good on Joe giving Martin that talking to. And this with Phil and his son must be the start of the next storyline.

I'm glad that Sharon and Dennis were very shocked at the pregnancy though. But I've read that the couple decide to adopt, so I'm a little bit puzzled!
Kat and Alfie was just plain stupid. Firstly he had "no money and half a tank of petrol" - so how was he expecting to get to America? Also why would he just drive off without even saying a goodbye to Kat? And also why would Kat not need her suitcase? And would she not say "wait Alfie - I want to say goodbye to Dad and Nana"? Talk about unrealistic garbage!
All three of the main soaps were poor this year though - with no tension or drama at all.

I'm glad I only watched 2 of them then.
I do agree about Kat and Alfie. I mean, she was all packed. Unless she planned to buy new, sober clothing when they ran out of petrol. Though she'd have probably managed to get a few quid going on the game to keep them going. LOL!

Kat would only get about 50p a time these days! It snowed for her and she drove off into the freezing horizon with her man. Impractically done - but a happy couple have left the Square, very rare in Eastenders.

As much as that? She'd be overcharging. Patsy
