What a bad episode for the wedding! I really thought it would be better. The whole wedding took a backseat in the episode IMO. We should have had a whole episode dedicated to the wedding! And would more people not have attended? Peggy wasn't there for one! And could EE not have had a nice touch and had a phone call from America from Michelle?
The arrival of the new Wick's members and the Pat/Patrick affair were most important it seems tonight, with only a few scenes for the wedding drama to play out.
The Wick's family could have arrived on Monday, as their arrivals simply took too much time tonight. Pat and Patrick could have happened tonight, but with more tension and less of a predicatable response from Yolande?
Oh, one final thing, we've already had a big brawl, involving most of the characters, in the Vic about two years ago! Did we really need another one to "celebrate" Joe and Pauline's wedding?
Pretty bad episode.

I missed this one, we went away for a couple of days. - will try to catch the omnibus. From reading TV guides, spoilers etc. it seems there is a sudden explosion of domestic violence on the Square following the arrival of the Wicks family, not to mention the ongoing hatred between Pat and Yolande.

Oh dear. Maybe it's because they aren't young so they decided it would play second fiddle to the rest of the ep.

Looks like everything with the new Wicks branch will end up in a punch-up, after their big family pow-wow at Pat's house.

Oh dear. Maybe it's because they aren't young so they decided it would play second fiddle to the rest of the ep. No decomposing bodies being dug up in the Queen Vic in this episode, just a good old fashioned EastEnd fist fight.

LOL! That would be funny. I'm having visions here of Arthur turning up at the wedding.

That couldn't be any creepier than Joe's daughter, Megan. What a miserable cow.

Ooh. Why are daughters/sons always so creepy or against things?

It is a rule in soap I'm guessing - cause as many problems pre wedding as you can. As if a big fisticuffs in the Vic last Friday for the wedding wasn't bad enough (and to have Pauline, standing there with a smile on her face!) - Tuesday we then had to endure another and again involving the Wicks family.

Oh dear. I'm back now but won't feel like watching anything for a few days because I'll be too tired. I know what to run through though when I put it on. LOL!

I'm not sure what to make of this Megan one. Miserable, sour-faced cow or what? I dread to think what his other daughter's like. So, has his secret been revealed yet? It wasn't a bad ep I though but the punch-up wasn't needed I agree there. And was I the only one to be reminded of Peggy slapping Frank and Pat when Yolande slapped Patrick and Pat?

No that was what I thought of too when I saw Yolande going happy-slapping wild! I was thinking to myself did they just use the same script?

Thank goodness for that. I was beginning to think I was the only one. LOL! She was standing almost between them too, wasn't she?
