Why is Steve being so hateful to his his mother because Liz`s new boyfriend(Bob?) stayed overnight with her? It was Steve who pointed out that Liz was still married to his Dad. Hello??? Wasn`t Steve still married to Karen when he slept with Tracey? Not counting of course the time he got Tracey pregnant. I like Steve, always have. But he needs to get off his high horse!

Well, we know his mum's a slapper as much as he does so I'm surprised by his attitude. Maybe he still feels guilty about pushing Jim off the scaffolding which led to Liz having that affair with the physiotherapist and running off with him.

i forgot about that affair Patsy. I think this Bob guy seems ok. I've only seen the episode when him and Ken came back from the funeral, but he seemed alrite.

You can't blame her having an affair with the physiotherapist..he was rather a handsome chap if i remember rightly....but you're right Patsy..it was Steve that started the whole ball rolling,so he did,by pushing Jim off the scaffolding

Yes, he was rather good-looking while Jim was rough. Not surprised it didn't last though. He probably fought with her over the mirror. LOL!

What was his name? Michael? yes he was rather handsome wasn`t he. I can remember the scenes when Jim was in a wheelchair feeling sorry for himself and (the brilliant) Maud Grimes stopped him from committing suicide. Such an excellent scene, I remember it well.

I often wonder though when Maude came wheeling in to help Jim,like a united nations dalek....how did she get her wheelchair up and over their front doorstep unaided..??
