I noticed on the homepage there mentioned there was a Coronation Street chat on March 11th-to discuss the murder and a return. I was just wondering if any others are planning to chat. It would be great to talk with people from here. I also assume the 8:30pm is UK time. (I will have to remember that is 3:30pm here)

It should be good. It's always great chatting with fans from all over the world. Isn't the Interet wonderful?

The internet is the greatest! I have met a lot of great friends in Canada, Uk and even NZ because of Coronation Street and the internet! You chat about Coronation Street, but then find out you have so many other things in common. I also love it because I can actually talk and see my relatives in England. (webcam and mic) Before it would have been a letter in a Christmas card!

It's a amazing how the technology has come on. I got a webcam last year since I'd got a new PC (my old one was Windows 95) but I wish those I spoke to had one as well! LOL! And chatting via it is cheaper than a phone call too.

Sorry I missed it. I came on after Corrie but my nose was running so much and I felt bleurgh so I went back to bed. Was it good? Next one - promise! Should have got rid of this flu by then. Patsy

For the 10 minutes I was there-I really enjoyed it. Unfortunately my sister had to drop by for a visit at 3:30pm (chat time here!) I couldn't just tell her to leave. LOL Everyone seemed friendly and I love the idea of 'potluck trivia.' People were not cliquey how I have found on other chats. I will definitely make it on time next chat.

I know exactly what you mean about cliquey, Deborah. Same with lots of places. People want to discuss their favourite whatever and if you're being ignored because they'd rather talk amongst themselves, it's no fun. Hope to see you at the next one. ;D

I went on a Corrie chat on another site (will not mention it), but found no one at all talked to me. They had their own little group and that was it. These people will also ignore you if you post on the guestbook. I will be at the next Corrie one for sure.

I think I have a fair idea which one you're referring to, Deborah. I've only been on one other chatroom (apart from Yahoo groups which are members only) and that was a couple of years ago. People on there were soooooo bitchy and certainly didn't like new people joining in. Patsy
