Personally I didn't see anything wrong with the Sophie/Sian situation; I was just miffed that Sally got so upset. Everyone else took it very well and didn't seem in the least surprised they had finally done the deed.

Agreed Paul.
I like Sally, but she comes across of being very hypocritical sometimes. She wasn`t too shocked when Sophie came out, she wanted to be the 'cool' Mother accepting Sophies lifestyle. Yet when Sophie and Sian were found in bed together - she hit the roof.
When Rosie was 16 she slept with Craig, and even planned to run away with him. At the time it was all Rosie this, Rosie that - and Sophie was pushed aside for years.
Also, Sally has conveniently forgotten her affair with that car dealership owner Ian Davenport....they were at it for months - and even lied to Kevin about it. Then there was Greg Kelly, and Chris the mechanic (can`t remember his surname), and Danny Hargreaves, and even Martin Platt. Sure her and Kevin had split by that time, but Sally isn`t exactly perfect either.
Sally should be grateful that Sophie and Sian are in a loving relationship, and didn`t jump into bed and have numerous partners like Rosie. And Rosie is over at the Grimshaws opening living with Jason. Not one bit of outrage there.
And did Sally forget she had the hots for John Stape at one time? She was all over him like a rash at one point - it was so embarassing.
Sally needs to apologise to Sophie otherwise she might lose her for good.

Good points Wendy - I reckon it's more a case of the scrippos hoping we'd all forgotten her past misdemeanours, or that we all have attention spans of gnats! ;D

I'd forgotten all about her pathetic attempts to seduce Stape, when she was trying to educate herself, and all the while he had his eye on her daughter. |
