From DS
ITV soap Emmerdale has announced details of its first ever feature-length DVD spinoff, which is to centre around the Dingle family.
Dingles For Richer For Poorer will explore two parallel futures for the show's long-standing clan after they purchase a Eurobillions rollover ticket in the hope of winning a fortune.
Zak (Steve Halliwell) and Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) buy the ticket following financial struggles for the family, who have been forced to eat scraps and sell old bric-a-brac to make ends meet.
As the story continues, viewers are presented with two very different worlds - one which sees the family winning the lottery, and another showing a less appealing fate featuring lies and bogus tickets.
Along with Zak and Belle, the comedy film stars Lisa (Jane Cox), Sam (James Hooton), Samson (Sam Hall), Cain (Jeff Hordley), Marlon (Mark Charnock) and Chas (Lucy Pargeter).
Charity Tate (Emma Atkins), Noah Tate (Jack Downham), Jimmy King (Nick Miles) and Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) complete the lineup.
Dingles For Richer For Poorer will be available on DVD and to download from November 15.
I am sure they have already done a Dingle spin-off...about the Dingle's in Australia ?? I expect I will get this. ;D

Wasn't there one about Mandy as well? Someone as DS hasn't a clue.

That could be the one I'm thinking of. Was it Paddy and Mandy's honeymoon?

Yeah they did 2 spin off involving the Dingles!
Both this Emmerdale DVD and the Corrie one this year sound rubbish - doubt I will get them unless I see them reduced to about £3 in a sale lol!

The annuals didn't last long, did they? LOL! Spin offs in the old days were novel. Now everyone does it.

Patsy Yes, they used to be something special but now they release a spin off nearly every year for Corrie. Id rather spend my money on the Corrie 50th set and watch some classic episodes - and hope they include different ones to the 60s/70s/80s box sets although some are bound to be the same.
