Has anyone else been watching this..??....We are usually sceptical about police dramas of late as they usually go down the cliche route..but fair do's this has been very good..Suranne Jones & Lesley Sharp make a good team.

Yes, as I mentioned elsewhere, we've been watching it - think it's excellent; one of the best police dramas for some time.
Great acting, gritty storylines, and a genuine sense of reality.
Lesley Sharp is always good, but Suranne Jones is more than matching her in this. Very impressive.

Me too - apparently it got good viewing figures, and critics have (on the whole) liked it, so fingers crossed.

This is one of the best new series to come from the ITV stables. Hope there is a new series.
Did you know that Lesley Sharp and Nicholas Greaves ( Andy Roper ) are married.?

...would also add that Amelia Bullmore (DCI Gill Murray) has been excellent in this too. She, Lesley Sharp, and Suranne Jones seemed to have tremendous rapport on-screen.
(For those with good memories she played Steph Barnes in Corrie, and was also in Ashes to Ashes, amongst loads of other stuff.)
For me, this has definitely been one of the most impressive police drama shows for ages.

(From The Press Association)
Lesley Sharp says it's been great filming the second series of Scott And Bailey because the first instalment got such a good reception.
The actress, 46, stars with Suranne Jones as the female detective duo in the ITV1 drama.
She said: "It's been great second time around, even better than last year, I think.
"Last time, we had no idea how it was going to be received, but the prevailing wind behind this series is a very good and positive one."
The first series reached 9.4 million viewers when it was broadcast last year.
Lesley, whose credits include Clocking Off, The Second Coming, Bob And Rose, Afterlife and The Shadow Line, said: "Obviously we've got to wait and see how it goes, but fingers crossed the audience that was with us last time will be there again."
She said of the drama: "We attempted to show the police in as real a light as we possibly could ... We all pay meticulous attention to the detail in police procedure, which I think is one of the reasons people find it so compelling."
(Clocking Off was one of my all-time favourite TV dramas - fantastic interconnected storylines and a genuine Who's Who of cast members, most of whom have gone on to make real names for themselves elsewhere. Much missed)

Because she got back to the house one day and found him having unprotected sex with some punter - he said he did it to earn some money to pay her back for setting fire to her kitchen. She also suspected he'd been doing the same thing when he was in prison.
Agree about the show - just amazingly good. All three women are tremendous, and the villain in last week's episode was sooooo creepy.
Fantastic show.
