The BBC South region (and Oxford) have had this on Fridays before EastEnders. It's a 3 part series about the Port of Southampton (last ep was tonight). Now, due to big ratings, it's going national and will be repeated on BBC2 from the 15th February at 8.30pm. Patsy

Thanks Patsy - Carol might be interested in this; she was brought up near Southampton and her mum still lives there.

I enjoyed watching that again. Was on Ventura arriving and Oriana sailing so just had to go from Mayflower Terminal to City Terminal. Fantastic day and not spoiled by the weather. My crappy photo of Princess Anne at the fleet review as we passed in the Solent. Attachments:

They want to include some ship stalkers so are talking to a load of people. I won't be asked because I'm a girly and not a weirdo saddo bloke, although Richard at the BBC had noticed last year it's a very male-dominated hobby. Funnily enough though he said my name seemed familiar and asked if I'd ever been filmed before. I said no then he told me his colleague on the desk opposite knows me from Twitter. LOL!
